has anyone successfully placed an order with vista through TCB or quidco?
I have just tried and everything was free in my basket until I opened it again in TCB. if I didn't go through TCB postage was over £5 before VAT I placed an order the other day and it was about £5 inc VAT

the pen seems to be free on quidco and TCB so will look at how much postage is compared with cashback. the rest I will have to order without cashback:(

    Xmas Saver!
having a twiddle around before with the cashbacks, it looks like its only the "free offers" that are on the site, pen, business cards, and if there is an offer under special offers. I know they have it split into business and home, but you can't order a pen from each section!!

    We've wrapped presents for June,

Aunt - Box of toilettries (recycled from Xmas)
Aunt - Teabags from Boots sale (£2 instead of £8), Botantics Set (£2 instead of £8), crime book (99p instead of £5)

Friends Boy - Car track set (£4.50 instead of £18 - LLoyds sale last Jan!)

Irish Grandad - Silver Gents figaro bracelet (£10 instead of £40 (Argos) off Miss Hoodie - me got him a 6 piece tool set £3 on half cost - got to get something small and cheap...

    Fathers Day

Dad - off Miss Hoodie - Set of 3 mini whiskies (£3 instead of £12 (BHS), FCUK set (£2 instead of £8 (boots), Tshirt - paradise island pose (free Vistaprint)

Grandad G - Set of Whiskies (£3 as above)

Irish grandad - Wallet and matching travel alarm clock (£1 and £2 instead of £7 and £8 Lloyds sale)

Dad - off me - Haven't got yet, usually bottle whisky nearer the time.

    ----
July got mum and dads bday.
Mum - we've gone on with dad and brought her a Radley handbag, £72 instead of £100. But we're spend £10 from DD and £15 from me, nearer the time

Dad - Seen a portable digital radio in Argos £35 - get that, from Miss Hoodie (£15 to spend- may be Whisky).

Miss Hoodie is very happy, she sold 9 out of 35 things on ebay and made £35. Hoping that the p+p will cover everything else. pretty good going as last weekend was free listing, got some good prices, plzed.
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Hello all :j
Grey dismal and wet bank holiday -would be nice if we could have enjoyed the garden now its all done but sunnier days will come I'm sure.
Friends have been popping in to get odds and sods I'd forgotten to get (brain was elsewhere last week)
Trying to get motivated to doing something towards christmas or birthdays but not much luck so far......maybe later in the week.

Hope you're all ok and enjoying bank holiday whatever the weather:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Hello all :j
    Ooops........I'm following myself..............lol

Windy day, some sun but bit too chilly to sit in the garden. Brolly came so that'll go up tomorrow hopefully if the wind dies down.......don't want it to end up in the next street !
Gardener chaps made a cute little table near the wild life pond.......its really a stack of bricks with wood on the top stained dark green like the beds he's done...........rustic looking and I've got some rustic type chairs (really mean a bit n***kered) that'll go with it in the garage.

OH not so good this morning but think he's perked up a bit now.
I rang surgery about nurse coming to see him like the hospital told us to......surgery said he'd have to go down there or we had to get district nurse.
So, I ring district nurse.........she hadn't had referral from hospital to see him so had to phone them up. They said he didn't need her to visit.....that was just for housebound folk ! Well, he's housebound now and hospital knew that. Nurse came anyway and changed his dressing, coming back Friday and putting in complaint about the hospital (good for her:T)

Hope you're all ok and the suns shining more than it has been here (though its shining now):)

Yeah I agree with Elysia, I hope you can get out in your garden too Mary. I am looking forward to some warmer weather again.

I didnt get on here much yesterday, didnt get up town until the afternoon and then by time we got home again I watched some tennis and the afternoon just flew past.

Sat and did some embroidery last night for some more cushions. I have four sayings ready to embroider including the one I started, two for my sisters (they are for next years Xmas lol) and two for my daughters. I have the fronts for the sisters ones already done (houses like the others) but still not sure what to put on the front of the daughters ones.

Dont know if anyone remembers but I made dvd's for Xmas last year for my family, well was a bit of a disaster as although I checked them all on my dvd player and watched them through before giving them out, none of them worked on theirs. So yesterday morning I had an idea that I would print out the pages as photos and put them in a photo album instead. Decided it would cost too much to print them myself as our ink is expensive so looked online and found a deal with Photo Box (or similar) if you are a new customer you can get 100 prints for free, just pay postage. Thought I would have a go and see what the total price comes up at as sometimes with these things you find they add on things like uploading your photos etc but it was quite easy and I ended up paying £2.68 I think and that was with an extra photo as I miscounted and it came to 101.

I am hoping they look nice as they are not just plain photos, but I had put borders around and writing on making them into actual pages for the dvd and just sent this whole thing to be the photo (sort of like a digital scrap book page).

I just need to look round for a nice photo album now. The photos I have done are my brothers so might give it to him for extra birthday present this month. Has anyone seen any nice ones that would take 100 (well 101 lol) photos 6 x 4 inches? I dont want the kind where you slide the photos in, I want to be able to display them on the pages. I have less than three weeks to find one.
