    Hello all :j

Angela........thanks for letting us know. How sad......my thoughts are with the family

Hoping OH will be home today.........3 doctors said yesterday he could then changed their mind -see frightened to do anything unless back consultant says so ! He's having his staples out today so here's hoping.
Chap went to fit a back brace yesterday -silly really -he took one look and said it can't be done for about 3 weeks as OH's stomach still swollen. I could have told them that ! Still no biopsy results and was told last night its normally 5 days for them to come through.............are they ''lost in transit'' ???
Oh well, when he comes home at least the garden looks nice, new table and chairs out and got solar lights last night from the big Tescos near the hospital:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Afternoon all, fingers crossed for you Mary, hope you have a nice weekend xx

I have finished my Dad's quilt at last, have put some photos on my home page. Now I need to finish of the last denim quilt which has been sitting up there waiting for ages.

Just checked my list of gifts needed etc and there's only one left to do for birthdays this year and thats November. Not many left for Xmas either. I do still have to get OH's present, remember I wasnt sure about getting the surround sound. Well the other day he was saying he wouldnt mind some aftershave lol so I might ask him nearer the time what he would like and if he says aftershave again I will get that for him instead.

    Xmas Saver!
Thank you Angela, what sad news, my heart goes out to her family.

Hope everyone ok, I have had a very productive day, never mind the song "I'm going to wash that man out of my hair", it was a case of I'm going to wash that chicken curry smell out of my hair - I went in cooking with Miss Hoodies class, we did
Chicken Curry - made by hand
Rice (thou i burnt it - blame it on electric cooker, I use gas!!)
Tomato chutney, yogurt + cheese sandwich
    Cucumber in natural yogurt
    Onion and tomato mix
Toasted Indian sandwiches (they were yuk!!) had cottage cheese, tomatoes _ oven baked
Totillas and pitta bread - chopped that oven baked made honey coated and then chilli powder

    Then for pud-
Whipped cream with honey running through it.

I impressed them as did a couple of tomatoes into half crown shapes (v posh, either that or kids are easily impressed)

We started cooking at 9am, finished at 2.30..... when we took the food into the class room, looked like an Indian takeaway, but the kids loved it, and thats half the battle, even cutting onions. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
