Clare - Oh I wish days like that happened more often. Mind you I had a good week. I had £85 off quidco, £25 Amazon vouchers off Philly cheese, and £40 off a survey site, so I treated myself to a kindle. :D I can't wait, it comes tomorrow. :)

    (mother-hen moment!!)

Well done for treating yourself to a kindle, we all work really hard on both the threadsm money making, the home made, sales etc etc,and its nice to hear that one of the lovely ladies has treated herself from all the hard work. I've got my eye on one of those and an ipod...

Good news, I got a survey on vista - 50p short off the payout for a week, got there in plenty fo time - think (could be wrong), - the cut off is end of month and cheques mid month, so that be £50 in the dilphin fund when it comes.

Some more good news (getting worrying not like me!!), I have finally got DD's holiday leave authorised - they originally said no, as my circumstances were not extreme (2 weeks without a bathroom, water, electricity, walls, ceiling, flooring all being replaced, and as for trying to find alternative accomodation in the area suitable for us all and Bailey - lovely price 14 ngts, x 2 rms in local t-lodge £1,300 thats without food etc) after a mini tantrum - gor the holiday authorised.

Miss Hoodie has started the list for the next challenge, wouldn't mind but tidying her wardobe - what she's Miss Hoodie - she's exempt from cleaning.

Got my venue sorted for bday lunch the pub said yes, did try to get a few bottles of free wine, but fell on death ears!! but had a gd flirt down the phone, so worth it!! The fun bit the menu changes a week b4 we go, but as soon as they get the new ones in, he's sending me one, we said as its Sun lunch, limit the choices, *make it easier for the pub.

The sewing still on a technical hitch - the first machine (kids sewing machine) didn't work, the 2nd one, mums done something to the bobbin, my friends coming to have a look.

Give you ladies a laugh - we had a ebay clearout of clothes, - bar 1 non payer!!! they've all been wrapped and posted, hit resell, from the last few bits - thought got mad lost 2 summer dresses of dd's - thought they've gone in the charity bag....... (mum had been helping with the wrapping!!), got a message from one of my buyers, she seemed really nice as she offered to post them on for me, or back to me, - my mother had wrapped the 2 dresses up in her parcel, she said they were beautfiul, but my youngest is 23 yr old male!! - said pass them on or charity shop them, thought by the time postage paid - wouldn't be worth it.

Just getting half term sorted, - be a quiet one, got free tickets for an indoor play area, so take dd and her friend, then off to Telford for day shopping!!! very mse thou, and Baileys having a bath!! Could be fun.

Has anyone heard how Susan gettings on xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Morning Ladies.

Mumtoone - Glad DD got school time off authorised. You will have enough to think about than worrying about that as well. So there are some NICE ebayers............... I got a HUGE mail from ebay, apologising about the non payer and what I can do to defend myself etc........

I got part of my Vista order, a mug for my friend, has a collage of photos and says Memories on it, its from our holiday in France with DD. It seems nice enough, and will see what the rest of the order is like when it arrives. I did put a claim in for TCB as it didnt track.

I had such a nice day with DD yesterday, she is back to herself and had all her teeth in, so looks like no more illnesses caused by teething. We met my friend at a ceramic place and the kids all painted little animails. ran about the softplay, and we had a snack there. Took dd to get her hair trimmed and then we went to tesco. She was brilliant all day, but very tired....... wanted to go to bed at 530pm :rotfl: managed to get her to go to 645........

This morning, I have made no plans. We are both in our pjs. Weather is not that nice, so think we will bake cakes later.

I hope you are all well, and Susan I hope you are doing ok. :grouphug:

Horrible outside today, tipping down with rain. Elysia has a party 1 - 3 so we''ll be having showers, hairstyling and a makeup session before then, all ready for the fashion parade. ;) She's only 8 you'd think she was going on a catwalk.

Another party 2 - 5 tomorrow, and we have to go through it all again, it's going to be a lonnggg weekend. LOL Why is it you have none for ages and then loads?

Haven't heard off Susan since. I'm taking it as a good sign, that's she's resting for a change.

Lisi - Have a good day today, I'm thinking of you.

There do seem to be peaks and troughs in birthdays - might have something to do with high days and holidays do you think. :p We have a glut of birthdays in our family April/May/June and then again in October.

Morning all, just doing my update on the santa challenge

EASY- I've done my list and even managed to remove some due to having the lets stop buying chat.
All the gifts I have already have been putinto the top of my wardrobe and written down so I don't duplicate.

MEDIUM - didn't manage to get to my massage but when my sil came down a couple of days ago she offered to get us a chinese rather than me cook. Usually I would say not to worry but this time thought what the hell and we sat and had lots of yummy treats.
Gutted the childrens room and have listed lots more on ebay so a much tidier front room cos they have room for toys in their bedroom.

HARD - Freezer and fridge are done, just the cupboards to go.

FUN - I haven't had chance to get on with this yet as I am finishing a cross stitch birth for my sisters new baby but I will try knitting again when it is done.

Hope everyone else has done well too.
    Take care

    Hello all :j
    Oh I am such a numpty...............lol:rotfl:
Here I sat reading through posts and computer shut down.............talk about panic !! Switch it off and on again and still nothing and battery light was flashing -didn't understand why. Then decided to check plug............daft me.............I'd charged my phone up in the socket next door to comp. one and then when phone was charged switched off wrong plug............hence comp. running on battery albeit it very brief..................lol:rotfl:
So, back to normal now...........memo to self ''look what you're doing next time you daft bat !!''

Been yukky wet morning......stopped raining now but bloomin' cold..........thank goodness OH got a few more little daffs in pots for the window sill............can't get outside to see them so we've got spring indoors...............lol:)
Not done much today due to our lad having mates round that took over the kitchen table:( When they eventually went I got my card stuff out and managed one patchwork notelet..............just one !! Honestly, was it worth getting it all out for I wonder.

Oh, must tell you this.............I walked on my own this morning:T Didn't intent to just went to put some rubbish in the bin and didn't think about grabbing walking frame...............I did it !!!! Mind you, don't think I'll do it too often just in case......:)

Susan -if you're having a read of this, hope you're feeling better...........just take it easy:)

The rest of you have a good day :)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Hi everyone - i`ve escaped.....:T:T

Im ok, thank you for all your well wishes, sorry i couldnt reply....

I was lying on the bed tapping away on my netbook, and ignoring the doctors and got told off for not taking it serious...as you can understand i once spent 5.5 months in hospital after i broke my back and so I tend to let them get on with it. :o

Well what a palaver - had that many blood tests i`m a pin cushion, had heart scan , ecg, neck scan, have to go back next week for brain scan (best of luck there) bloods and other things, they reckon my blood pressure was too high as well, so would theirs be if they took my internet off me:rotfl::rotfl:

I dont know how they knew i had a mini stroke because i always talk a load of rubbish...

But i`m back.... i`ll catch up soon , way behind on my surveys, and i cant drive for 28 days at least.....arrrrggggg:mad:

Update ; just had phone call have to go back in hour for a scan, didnt know they work weekends
