    **Long post alert **

Bless Miss Hoddie lol, I hope she keeps it all up when she is older, my daughter used to help me out around the house all the time when she was younger, now it tough getting her to even take her plate out after her, teenagers!!

I uploaded a couple of pics to my blog this morning showing the latest quilt I made. Just need to go over it with the lint roller later on and then it can be packed away ready for Christmas.

I have got an update on my list of presents for the year as I haven't done one yet. Green is started on, red is finished, black not thought about.

    Grandson2 -
    Grandaughter -

    Daughter2 -

Sisters = both have quilts made
Nieces x 4 all have bags, keyrings, notebooks and pens from Vista, making denim quilts to go with them

    Bro and Sil -
Great nieces and nephews - will have vista mugs and either cotton bags or t-shirts.

Not bad for middle of February. I have noticed I need to get something for ExMil. She is hard to buy for as doesnt use toiletries or make up and is diabetic so doesnt eat any choclolates etc, she doesnt really like the diabetic sweets but did mention she likes the diabetic jams and marmalades. Her friend used to get her small individual packs of them when she was working at the hospital but changed jobs so I might have a look online and see if I can get some of those for her.

Just a quick one ladies slightly off topic (but if it saves the pennies :D ) not sure if it will help anyone but I noticed yesterday that Mr T's are doing 3 for 2 on all cat and dog food and treats. Think its on until 20th Feb.

I went in yesterday and stocked up think i saved myself about £18 in the end. With three pooches I know it will all get used and I even bought some extra to take up to the animal sanctuary I volunteer at too.

Will probably go back for more before offer ends just have to find somwhere to store it.

:THello Gang, so glad I joined this, you are all so encouraging and I love the challenges.

I made my list - found that usefull already as I am putting birthday cards in my diary rather than rushing around at the last minute

Bought a storage box for the bits I have bought and for presents I manage to get, but it is filled already lol will be getting another before the deadline of 24th :D

I have been ordering of Vistaprint and although it isn't tracking everytime on Topcashback it is still really unique presents for very little money

Treat - I had my hair dyed and it took about 21/2 hours it was heaven

My daughter has just moved back home so we have swapped rooms, hubby and I are in the small room so have already sorted that woo hoo

Cleaned the freezer and the food cupboards thankyou Miss Hoody I needed that push and it looked so clean and healthy it actually made me feel good. Didn't manage random dinners but we all had something different and I baked cakes (which I hadn't done for ages) My bloodhound Archie licked the bowl

Challenge - well I have no sewing skills whatsover so thought I would have a go at sewing some material to put at the bottom of the birdcage to catch the seed that he keeps flicking out, it looks absolutly rubbish, but works and makes us laugh everytime we see it.:rotfl:

Cant wait for 24th to see the next challenge, thankyou so much

Ps Susan I can't believe how calm you are, hope you are ok, take care, Hugs to all that need them

OMG Susan - are you ok? Silly question I know, but what are you doing on your computer? You should be resting, and getting better.

Mini Strokes are usually just a warning, so you best take care of yourself, better still, let everyone else take care of you for a change.

Sending you extra big hugs for a speedy recovery. xxx

Mum2one - I had some cooking oil to try off tolunaa. I won't say what it looked like but it wasn't cooking oil. LOL

    Take care everyone.

    Mary I hope you're bahaving yourself ;)

Blinking heck!! You take it easy you!!!

mswan - mmmm what types of cakes did you make??

elysia - lol what images do you have of mary mis-behaving? ;)

This blinking having children lark has completely messed up my emotions! Me, I used to like a good horror film, but I've just seen a trailor for a new zombie game called Dead Island.... OMG. It's one of the most amazing trailors for a game I've ever seen, but I'm now a bit of a wreck. :(:(:( Trying desperately not to cry in work!!!! If you're a sensitive mess like I seem to be now, don't watch it!!!! If you like computer games/horror films, it's an amazing piece of work.

Off to sort myself out!! lol

Clare -You know what little ones get up to - all sorts of mischief. ;) I love it when they are little - even when the terrible two's hit and they get cheeky. They are so comical. :D Thanks for letting us know about India - I was going to vote earlier, but couldn't see anyone with a Welsh town. Ignore me though, I'm rubbish a geography!

ETA: Newtown - of course that's Wales. I told you I was rubbish, There's a Newtown, in Birmingham. :rotfl: Voted - she's pretty, but they all are really!

Susan - have you got an update for us? How are you? Are you having to stay in?
