Welcome back KiWi!
lisi - glad the funeral went well - good to have you back!
susan - ah, the wonderful language of Merthyr girls!! hehe They're not ALL like that.....honest. hehe I'm not from Merthyr myself (not far from) but know many people who are! lol
Blimey, that's HIGH car insurance!!!
mary - Hey Ms Spongecake-Bones! Sounds like an Elf name!! lol On a serious note though, at least you KNOW. I always stand by the fact that not knowing is the worst. Knowing, what ever it is, means you can deal with it!
junior - where are you? Everything ok? (lol, wrote that before I read all the posts - elysia and I were obviously thinking of you at the same time.)
Odd freezer meal - not really done one except one night I did have duck spring rolls with home made chili dip, with chips and beans! lol
Hope you're all doing ok. I'm on second day of trying to eat healthily. My thoughts are that I CAN'T do complete 7 day a week healthy eating, so I'm being as good as I can week days so I can be a bit more laid back about it on the weekend! Fingers crossed!

Hello all :j
elysia - wondered where you'd been lately.
OH's hip seems to be ok........he no longer needs his stick. This morning him and his mate put our new bed up and he's now putting clean bedding on it.........not sure whether it'll match or not............lol Not his strongest point
Our lad here is behaving himself, and being really good and helpful...........insists he'll have me walking without any aids before he leaves to go to army college in September...............lol:)
clare - love the name you've given me............if I'd know I'd have had that as my 'user name'...........lol:rotfl:
Not done a lot today except make a few more cards -one might do for MIL's mothers day card and some for Easter -not sure yet.
Keep busy and smiling...............lol:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Finished the next quilt today, havent taken a pic yet but will update my blog tomorrow when I have done it.
Sorted the top of my wardrobe out this morning, then this afternoon OH came in from his Mum's and brought some toiletry bits in that she was given for Xmas to see if I wanted them to do a basket up for someone. Will probs use them for eldest daughter as she loves them when I do them for her.0 -
Hi Mary - how's things going today? I'm glad everyone is looking after you.
Clare - Hiya. What's Bethan up to lately? Is she getting into loads of mischief?I love it when they are that age.
Mum2one - aren't you lovely doing all those vistaprint orders for the neighbours
Hiya everyone. No Jj again today. I hope she's ok.
Just posting a quick bargain with anyone with girls parties to organise or go to. BHS has loads of girls accessories for only 50p. I bought earrings, tiara's, little teddies, hair bobbles, and hair bands. Lovely ones, all 50p each.
Susan - Did you try Admiral? It was the cheapest I could get DD's car insurance. Some places wouldn't even insure her. OMG - she frightened me today, she was turning right at a extremely busy junction and stalled in the middle. Traffic was coming at us from all directions.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

HI all,
Quick message. I know it's REALLY cheeky (and not overly MSE at 60p a message!!) but would any of you mind voting for my manager's daughter in Teen Queen UK please?? http://missteenqueenuk.com/?Page=Section%3AContest1 She's actually a lovely girl, otherwise I wouldn't ask!! lol
Don't worry if you think it's too expensive (I do too!!), I won't mind! I said I'd ask around!
Thanks all.

Thanks for these offers - I don't always get a chance to catch up on the grabbit board. For any of you knitters Kemps wool shop have selected colours of Rico pom pom yarn at £4.99 and some colours in the mini pom pom at £3.99. Makes lovely scarves. I think it was normally £8.99 -they have some other good bargains too. I am trying to resist as I have so much yarn to use up and running out of space for it.

A good week for me gift wise, more for what I don't now have to buy rather than getting bits, although my vista order did arrive which I'm really pleased with.
Decided to have the chat with my sisters. One has just had a baby and another is getting married in a month so I knew they were strapped for cash too. We have agreed to just buy easter eggs for our own children this year so I only have 2 to get rather than 11!!!!! :j
Also we went a step futher and talked about christmas and have decided to cut out sisters and partners and only get for their children, so this is a saving of a minimum of £60 :j
Feel so much better for having decided this and funny that we were all thinking the same just no-one wanted to be the one to say it and sound mean. Just got to have the same chat with OH side and hopefully they will feel the same.
Take care all
Jayne
Thats brilliant news about the chat, you could almost bet a penny to a pound, that they have thought about it before but nobody wanted to mention it for fear of offending.
Totally agree re Easter - gets out of hand, we buy mums friends grandaughters, and then my uncle (he's a chocholic), but Miss Hoodie wanted the whole class.......... NO..... xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
