about your assessment that your husband is entitled. maybe he's not. at the end of the day this is your opinion against that of several health assessors.

if everyone tells your wrong, theres a possibility that you are, but just dont agree with it.

We have only ever seen one atos assessor. we are waiting for the tribunal which wont be until at least April. I think the oncologists know what they are talking about rather than an atos "hcp".

this is all thanks to the people who have ripped the system off over the years.....i am glad they are clamping down,its the people that need it and are being tarred with the same brush i feel sorry for....:(

As I have said earlier:

It's like everything else. The minority have spoilt it for the majority. Now everybody is to be treated as a fraudalent benfit claimant until they prove that they aren't either in the ATOS assessment or at the appeal hearing.

That's just the way it is. DLA is going the same way - too many have claimed and been given it who don't really deserve it.

Just re-jigged your post a bit, that assessment rate money is what he's supposed to be living on. ESA+HB+CTB etc is often more than some people earn working, you should be able to budget enough to pay your heating from ESA at the assessment rate.

I mean that there are so many people appealing that the atos people must be getting something wrong with some of the people.
