We have lots of lovely leftovers. The spare mash, parsnips and sprouts will become bubble and squeek tomorrow. I'll serve that with a slice of lo gammon.
The lo pigs in blankets are going on todays buffet and the rest of the lo gammon will become carbonara. Lo beef and gravy and whole roasted onions will make a pie at the weekend.
I don't know what to do with the lo sausagemeat stuffing yet? It is more like a meatloaf.
Anything lo from tonights buffet will become tomorrows lunch.£36/£240

Slice it up and serve it with the bubble and squeak. We did this today. Very tasty.0 -

I make what ever is left into a Christmas dinner soup, even adding cranberry. Though this year we had beef so we are having beef sandwiches instead. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

OH prepped the veg and went a bit mad so it looks like bubble & squeak for the next two or three dinners, lol. Other than that we've got a big piece of gammon to slice up and freeze for sandwiches. Remainder of beef will be sarnies today. Unopened smoked salmon with scrambled egg for brunch and then maybe with pasta at weekend. We haven't even touched the cheeses yet but we can work our way through those. We didn't go too mad with shopping it's just our Christmas Day guests didn't eat as much as we thought (4 we thought were coming for tea could only pop in for an hour in afternoon and didn't even want a biscuit, and the 4 of us who were in all day had so much for Christmas dinner at lunchtime, we couldn't face anything later)[STRIKE][/STRIKE]I am a long term poster using an alter ego for debts and anything where I might mention relationship problems or ex. Well I had a bowl of LO turkey in the fridge, I was going to make a few curries for the freezer, however got up this morning to be told by dh that the dog and cat enjoyed the turkey this morning...... Eeeek! he had got up and fed the bloomin lot to them!...I'm sure I caught the cat sniggering whilst DH was telling me what he had done lol
We have not got that much left to use up, just a few cheese's and sausage rolls, the cheese I'm going to grate and freeze and the sausage rolls will be eaten by ds and dh this eve.G.C July £21.09/£1000 -

Fond as I am of mince pies, I think I need something else to use up the remaining mixture.
I made the mincemeat flavoured popcorn a la Kirsty Allsop and DS totally devoured it0
