Hi Polly
I don't have any advice to offer about the bankruptcy either but have been thinking about you over the last few days.
I think that we could all blame ourselves for the mess until the end of time but it won't do any of us any good so looking forward to the future seems the best option.
The pup burying to Oz made me chuckle, bless him/her.
Hope you have a great weekend xx0 -
Bit hacked off again, just posted on the BR board to ask how our joint £7k OD will be dealt with re BR and apparently the whole thing will fall to me to pay off
I had thought (must stop thinking) that it would be split 50:50 and Dh would take some under BR and i'd take half into a DMP.
Need to add that full £7k to my list now:(
Positive thinking, DH and children off to check and feed the school hens, pray for eggs people!!

Morning, Happy Easter!
Woo i hadn't looked at it as a holiday possibility:D good idea!!
Choo, he cooks but doesn't clear up after himself and when i met him he was the type to iron one shirt in the morning for that day. I like a weeks worth done, so i took over the ironing as he took over the cooking, sadly cleaning is where neither of us does it until i can't stand it anymore and then blitz the place.
Have looked at flylady and like her ideas of 15 mins at a time and it does work. And i think she's right about avoiding the martyr attitude too, but putting it into practice doesn't always work!!
Shattered today, middle child up early and DH and i had a late night as we started looking at the 1911 census for his ancestors and it gets quite addictive! He's never been able to trace his Dads side as his Mother won't let anyone talk about anything other than her side, so we did quite well, lots of army so quite fun seeing some born in South Africa, India and Gibralter oh and one (his great grampa) born in Cork. Dh has always loved Ireland and now he has a real connection:D
Right better go and dish out some chocolate before there is mutiny:eek:Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Lovely day here today, we're all back at school / nursery and work tomorrow, boooo.
Mind you a three day week, so doubt i'll be doing much at work and sure they'll be doing very little at school. They're having a wedding party on Thursday, so will have to see what fits!
Money, DH gets paid on the 27th and i get paid on the 29th but hoping we'll be a day early with the Royal Wedding, so will check the bank online first thing tomorrow.
Have got £80 left in my diesel jamjar and Dh has £40 left in his petrol jamjar, so being off work a week each has been positive!!
Will take the cash out over the next few days for the May jamjars, Dh is doing well on the cash thing, although keeps going to look at the jamjars and count the money, odd man:p
Desperate to pay the next £500 to the in-laws and should hear back from CAB about DH's BR and how much he'll have to contribute each month, could be awful i just don't know what figure to expect. Then i suppose they will work on figures for my DMP.
At least it's getting there, just feels like an age when you're waiting. But i don't have the confidence to do it myself in terms of setting up a DMP.
Anyway better head off, back to early starts tomorrow with pup walking, at least it should be bright enough to walk out of the village rather than be stuck having to stay in the streetlight zones!
Need to start a diet as well, loads of weight to shift and i HATE my clothes, so that may be my spreadsheets at work tomorrow!!Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Thanks Woo, but there needs to be money left over as that's what we'll need when mortgage rates go up, so actually we'll need more and more left over
DH's salary hasn't hit the bank, dash and blast, so looks like it will be tomorrow after all. As long as it arrives!!
Another lovely looking morning and the diet will be starting on the 1st, so that's Sunday, will have a play with my sig later for that:eek::eek:
