Long Haul or Do Up House??

  • Ohh bless CAB, they did phone back:j

So we progress a bit more, CAB will now fax our financial statements to Grant Thornton who act as Insolvancy Practitioners and we should hear back next week on what DH's monthly payment order (not sure if that's the right term) is likely to be and get a date for an appt with them to apply for BR i think :o

So need to save £100 for DH's BR fee and £500 for me to buy out the trustees interest in the house and how ever much they agree he should pay each month.

Have a deep ache in the pit of my stomach. I suppose with the house valued so low we really have no alternative and that's quite a wake up call.

  • Morning, thanks guys i'm okay, actually worried about DH, the thought of him having to be grilled about how and why this has happened isn't nice. And basically it's all happened because of me.

CAB were quite adament that they didn't want me to go BR because of my job, which is a bit annoying as it has all been my doing and i feel it's unfair DH will have the scrutiny.

Anyway at least things should start to move.

Phone Opus too and they were saying if you agree a DMP with them there are three plans, one charges interest of 0.5%pa and the other two plans charge 0%. God if they charged reasonable interest in the first place this would not have happened and we could have paid our way out.

Right need to get ready for work, last day till Tuesday  and friends coming over to play with the children this afternoon, house a total mess, so fingers crossed DH will hoover or something:rotfl:

    Have a lovely day,
    PWD xx

  • Pups don't you just love them, mine has unravelled a toilet roll off the holder in the downstairs loo this morning and has dragged it through the hall into the dining room, oh well at least if its doing that its not chewing my furniture, just have reams of chewed up loo roll to clean up.

    Have a good day PWD
