    Hi PWD

    I brought my mattress from Ikea, I had to base my choice on what would fold into the back of a Peugeot 206 though! Luckily its super comfy.

  • Thought i'd do a quick update to myself publicly!

    Well seven months on from BR and we are still standing, think our collective confidences have taken one hell of a knock and the old spending demons are still there. Do pretty well on our budget but do hate having to grudge every penny all the time. It means we are a lot less sociable and i don't really want other people near me if that makes any sense.

    However at least the IPA has a definate end date and that is great as we would never have seen the back of the 13 creditors we had if we hadn't taken the step.

    2012 will be a plodding on year but it will be progress day by day and i will cling onto that.

    To make it more interesting i have signed up to PWPS's make £2,012 in 2012 and already have £10.66 towards that :j, not sure whether to physically put this money in a box so i have something tangible to shake or just use it as day to day extras money.

    Think i will sign up to the £2 coin savers thread too, don't like having loads of change around so i'd rather use everything else as required but i do love those £2s!

    DH still refusing to meal plan, which is becoming more and more annoying as i'm sure it would reduce his stress and would give us some spare cash from the food budget which i'd reward him with spending on farmers market / farm shop goodies - i'm not all bad:D

    Want to walk more and try and shift some weight as i think that would be something to focus on when i can't really do much money wise whilst paying the IPA.

    Right think that's it for the moment.

    So to summarise:

    Meal plan with (or for) DH;
    Eat less, move more;
    Achieve Penny's £2,012 challenge;
    Join £2 thread and;
    keep paying the IPA amounts - no choice but by putting it that way it feels like i'm chosing to:rotfl:

    HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE :beer:
