Rather late in the day, I know, but Happy Christmas, PAP. Hope that 2012 is a good year for you.

Do I get the feeling that you're another one with a January birthday? I was supposed to have been a "just in time for Christmas" baby but was very (about a month!) late, so have 4 weeks to go to a "big" birthday!

    love,

    GF x
  • Thankyou everyone for the christmas wishes, I hope you all had great times too. Mine was mixed but I did enjoy the extra time off work this year. I had an amazing surprise though and I got my xbox :j :j My mum, lil bro and his girlfriend clubbed together so at least thats something I don't have to save for :D

GreyF :rotfl: I hope you had a great xmas with all your family :T Yes I am a new year baby, tomorrow infact! I was late too, due xmas day, so glad I stayed in though. You were very late, you must have been cosy in there ;) Have a great new year Grey, I am hoping I will get back to london this year even if its only for a weekend, I want to come and see Matilda :D

So we did chrismas dinner on a great budget :T SC = store cupboard
    Beef - £10, Turkey - £6, Gravy - SC, Roasts - 69p, Sprouts - £1, Cabbage - 50p, Broccoli - 50p, Carrots - 39p, Stuffing - £1, Homemade pigs in blankets - £3, Peas - SC, Cranberrry - SC, xmas pud - 49p, Custard - SC, Xmas log - 49p and J2O's B1G2F - £2 = £26.06 = £3.72 per portion. And for once we wern't stuffed and had no waste and we wern't eating turkey for days afterwards, I think we will do the same next year ;)

So tomorrow is my big day  I have £65 to play with and the plain is to cover everything with that and then start my £5 challenge as from Sunday. However I need 2 birthday gifts (one child and one adult) from that and ingrediants for cupcakes, so that prob leaves me £40. I need gravel for my tank and some plants/decorations so I guess that will wipe all of that out sadly  I will then order/buy my shrimps once the tank has cycled in Jan. I will use money from my wage for that but as its my birthday gift thats ok ;)

Hope you all have a great final day of the year and your new year is very kind to all of you. Thanks for all your support throughout 2011, it was a very strange year but I am ready to do it all again in 2012. Enjoy the celebrations
