Thanks all, in work all weekend but I do have my friends birthday meal. However I am hoping the money she pays me for making her cakes will cover the cost of the meal.
Decided against the mobile for me so just ordered Mum's. I did spend a little extra on me today from the bonus money... £4 on a new piping syringe and £12 on some more aquarium plants as some of mine got destroyed by the heater.
Now just got to let everything clear before I can transfer over my savings :T0 -
Pap, why are you buying your mum a mobile.
Won £4 back from morrison's on my shopping

Its her birthday on the 25th and it's the only thing she has asked for. It's only £20 but you need to top up £10 as with all PAYG phones.
Ohhh better than nothing I suppose, shame you didn't win back your shopping when you did your weekly/monthly shop.0 -
So didn't actually order said phone
I thought I ordered it but it would appear I didn't :rotfl: Anyways having second thoughts the reviews arn't too good and I would rather get Mum a phone she likes/that she can work that any old thing. So instead I will put £30 in her card and she can find one she likes instead. I am watching a few on ebay so that may change but for now its the plan.
I also recieved £20 for my cake which was amazing, however its all but gone due to hospitals. £10 was spent on the meal out, not too bad I didn't think and then the other £10 was spent on hospital parking and coffee for Mum. The later should come out my weekly spends but I am making an exception because she was stress/worried so the coffee calmed her nerves. Not good news really have to wait for treatment first but it could mean a operation maybe hip replacement
So budgets going well, I am going to make my weekly spends into my monthly spends, I just think it will be easier to monitor and will also help if I need a big purchase vs small ones. One big purchase will be a gift for my 'nan', its her birthday April but I want to stitch her a bookmark, the kit is £10 and I will need to make a start asap. So in a week or so I will order that. Still waiting for my bank to clear and then onwards with my saving plan :T
Happy Monday all :beer:0 -

Hope your mum is ok Pap. Which hospital was it? We were visiting the one in the middle of town a lot last year and found a small pay and display just behind which saved walking for ages from any of the main car parks! I haven't seen the new multiple storey at s/mead yet0

We will soon find out once she has some injections
It was the one getting redeveloped so not far for me to go. The multi story is ok but we parked right outside the centre we needed. £3.50 for 3hours is was  In the multi story its the same but the jump is then bigger than ground level prices. When lil bro was in hospital I think we payed £5 for 4hours. If we visit the one in town then we usually park in trechard st and walk :rotfl:
Added money to savings today, so I have saved my £1 a days until next payday. I have also put in extra but as you can see from the sig I have seperated that out, that will be used for my car tax. I think its due May and I want to buy a years so that I have the mot the end of the year and tax at the front instead of all together. Once that is saved (£150ish) I will be looking at insurance because I will need to pay the first month upfront.
