  • Hi all sorry I have been MIA, just nothing to say really :o £10 was spent on the kiddies gift and £10 to re-subscribe to fat club. Car is parked up until payday as its on 200miles and don't trust it anything after that. Some plants died in my tank so may have to replace those sometime soon. Anyways budget for next friday...

    £160.00 ~ Rent
    £10.50 ~ House Insurance
    £35.00 ~ BT
    £22.50 ~ Dog Insurance
    £140.00 ~ Loan
    £80.00 ~ Petrol
    £10.00 ~ RAC
    £9.95 ~ Fatclub
    £29.99 ~ Mums birthday gift
    £10.00 ~ Mobile credit
    £40.00 ~ £5 a week

    £547.95

Anything (as if) left over will be sent to savings and somehow I have to find the money for my car to visit the garage to get its oil changed. I would do it myself but because the car has been serviced only at garages before all the nuts are far too tight on the sump tank so I am guessing that will be £60+ I wouldn't be without my car now after waiting 4 years for it but its true when they say older cars are money pits :o

So thats me until Friday I suppose when I come back and add on my savings this month :D

    Take care
  • Recieved my payslip today, so here on in is many a ramble and I hope you can figure it all out :rotfl:

Above is my budget for this month, however as I didn't have my £5 a week for the last two weeks I will be using £7 of it on Friday. I have found a second hand 3L slow cooker, I have been eyeing them up for about 16 months but didn't see any point buying anything less than 3L and they were £20+. However this secondhand one has hardly been used and its an easy way to get more protien in my diet. The remaining £3 will be put into savings of which I already have £2.xx in my current account.

I am then topping my saves up to £100 (£57.72) which means by the end of Feb I will be 40days ahead for my £1 a day challenge!

But that still leaves me a whopping £200 remaining of my wages  One of the reasons is I recieved £80 bonus pay this month, unexpected as its only the second time in the whole time its been running we have recieved it. Now I have spent this 100 times over in my head... Mattress for Mum, shed for me, new lappy (mine broke this month), car service, carpet for the living room, stuff to finish the bathroom, new xbox game etc etc

However may I be so forward as to use £34.99 from it for a new mobile for me (few pages back I explained what happened), go to a 21st birthday meal and give a gift (£25) and then save the remaining as if I have never had it, £140 . Then if the car starts playing up I will have just under £250. Or shall I just save it all, less the meal etc and stick with the phone I have here? By rights I should save the £5 a week for the phone, shouldn't I?

Either way once the tank is cycled I shall be taking about £15 out of my savings anyway for my shrimp :j

Hope you are all having a great 2nd week of 2012!
