Sorry Beanie, you arn't going mad, I removed my happy post once I realised I am not so happy after all...
To my surprise my pay has hit my account. To my horror its not the most amazing pay packet in the world. I have cleared my credit card :j However I can't pay Argos this month and I can't buy anything extra and that includes my wipers and lights for my car and any mobile creditAlso it means no listings on ebay because I can't cover the postage, you couldn't make it up could you!
Wage £859.55
£180.00 - Rent
£10.50 - House Insurance
£35.00 - BT
£19.00 - Dog Insurance
£140.00 - Loan
£80.00 - petrol
£10.00 - RAC
£140.00 - Car Saves
£242.68 - CC
Leaves £2.37 for me :rotfl:
*Offically skint until 15th September 20110 -
So is your pay short then?
You could put your mobile top up and wipers and lights on your CC and pay them off when you next get paid?
Maybe about £50?

No its actually £9 more. my base money is about £850 and thats what I use on my budgets. Can't check it until work Monday. I could but I really don't want to, 'robbing peter to pay paul' springs to mind. Mum owes me £667.23 she just gave me £20 when I told her my situation and I owe Argos £348.95. So more than enough but I can't rely on it as I don't know when I will get any money.
So seeing as I have just been given £20, thats £10 credit and £6.50 for my 7 bottles of shampoo I ordered from Avon. So at least if I break down I can make use of the RACAnd I don't need shampoo for another 6 months+ Argos will rise to £120 for the remaining three months to make sure thats clear before the 0% ends

*Another long ramble, sorry guys but its easier to understand it when written on paper*
Ok this may sound mad but I realised something last night which may save some of my problems. So now my CC is clear we could say the £300 limit on that is two car saves. My garage accepts CC so if my car were to break down I can get it fixed if its less than £300. Considering parts are really cheap for my car I can't see it costing that much unless something major went wrong. That then frees up the £140 this month.
As I was hoping to pay for my car tax in October using my wage if I still saved from September's pay £140 (but missed out December's wage) I would still have 7 months saved ready for my insurance and MOT next year. I am guessing my insurace will rise, so worse case I am thinking £1k for that. So come Feb/March I may have to top that up with an extra £100 but by then I will be debt free :j
It also means I have £140 to play with this month and will be able to do the things as promised... Cinema, coffee etc, but obviously not go mad because I want this month to be extra frugal
Seems much better :T0 -

Thanks Beanie, I was naughty and I have spent a large amount of my £140.. My best buy was a compost bin and watering can for £10.80 in work, considering the the council charge a reduce rate of £20 I think it was a great price. I also purchased the majority of my tools plus some specialist tools to break up the concreate that the previous family have poured all over the garden. So a total of £63.84 spent today but the bin was payed with by cash.
Remaining then I have £86.96... Asside from my phone credit, my avon (which I already have the money for) and if I win an auction over on the cross stitch thread I am not spending anything else this month!
I am off in a couple of weeks so thats the reason I purchased the tools as I can do it while on holiday. My aim is to remove all the concreate and weeds, prune the trees and sieve all the soil. It will keep me busy if nothing else

Confessions of a Pap :rotfl: Today the dog needed his hair cutting, Mum was paying but I had to drive her to the groomers. Our original groomers has stopped cutting so we needed to find a new one. I said I would if she pays for a coffee. Then the dog very kindly snaped his lead, we needed one ages ago but I have been holding out geting one
Well costa is in Tesco, and Tesco has a huge saleSo garden kneeler (£5 in b&q), weed sheet (£4 in b&q), 3 seed kits (£6 in b&q), 8 packets of seeds (37p each), 3 balls for the kids (originally £2.50), twirl batton (orignally £2.50), car airfreshner (originally £2.50) and a top for a christmas gift (orignally £7). All for £10.46
This means I only need 1/2 packets of seeds to have everything I want to grow next year. And I can't help but spoil the kids
But then Mum saw that HC had a sale, I was doing my upmost to explain I can't go in but we ended up in there. A couple of suncatchers for the kids to do on Friday, a cross stitch for me and one of the kids and £12 lent to Mum for Christmas gifts = £18.41
Then after picking the dog back up Mum suggested we had better get the dog a new lead. Yes ok, £17.09 later on a lead, two treats and a tennis ball
So £35.50 used from my card £51.46 leftI am now leaving my purse at home until payday. The only thing I am allowed to pay for is the cinema £7 and a drink friday if I go £3. I am also not topping up my phone this month. I have £6 credit but I like to top up £10 to get a free 100min next 'month' but I will forgo that this month.
Oh and Mum has promised after christmas she will repay all what she owes me. I just have to get through chrismas with 5 extra people to buy for...You will be a very busy Pap
Certainly Beanie, I am hoping to keep myself out of trouble and plus it will be free :T0 -
Seeing as that was all negative, here is some positive. I seem to have over calculated and I seem to have £94.41 left over in my account *confused*. I think I put too much in my rent or something. I will wait until all my bills/debits go out and see where I stand.
So as I have just updated my sig...

This month

Apollo - 16% * Weed - 0%

Apollo is my phone £16/£99
Weed is my shed/cold frame £0/£100
