It's good to let-off steam with a rant or two. That's what I use my DFD for.

    Hi Pap.

Good luck with saving for that phone. Do they sell it on Amazon? Is there anyway you could get some vouchers towards it like I did with my bed?

I don't know Em, I haven't looked but will do and get back on that site ;)

Right now I need positive vibes from everyone. I had an accident in my car and if they write it off I am totally screwed. The worse thing is I smashed into Mum's car :o This now means I will not have a car until payday next month as I have to cancel my mot to pay the excess on the insurance  On a postive note I will not have to pay for fuel :rotfl:

Have a great evening all :D

Yeah I am fine, shaken up but fine. Just a bit annoyed with myself really and after the day I had at work and the things I was going to do, however you can't do 'what if's', can you?

Thanks, its a Y which is why I am worried they will write it off. However the mileage is very low and the damage isn't bad so it should be ok... I hope.

As long as you are ok.
It is a pain but life never goes to plan as you and I know.
Hopefully they wont write it off.
    What sort of damage?

  • Thanks Beanie, thats correct at least I haven't hurt myself/someone else. I think the age is the worrying part but I won't know until my insurance made their mind up. The right rear light is smashed and the bumper is cracked and hanging a bit. Everyone on the fiat forum thinks it will be written off if that the case I am up the creek as I will have the loan to repay  But lets think positive.

Thanks Beanie I am fine, just a bit depressed/fed up now, until I know what is going to happen I don't think I will be 'right'. Was going to cancel tomorrow but lil bro is taking us now, will have to put a happy face on :rotfl:

    Is it the wedding?

if the car id drivable you mightbe better not putting it through the insurance and geting the light fixed yourself?

Yes the wedding tomorrow night :) Can't not go as I was looking forward to it so much.

Well it drives :T But it will need a new light and bumper, I think it will cost about £300 ex labour. I don't know how insurance works though. If I don't claim for my car do I pay the excess? Mum will claim through her insurace which will go through mine, do I pay for her excess? If I get the insurance to fix my car and they say its a write off can I cancel the claim or will I need to 'buy it back', which I can't do anyway :o Extemely confused :rotfl:
