I lieI had to wait for Mum to get a lift home so I stopped for coffee £1.09 but I also know I needed some f&v so I spent £25.86 and I got a huge amount! I will list it because I am so happy with the amount, considering it was a supermarket
Mixed canned beans,
6 peppers
Bagged salad ( 2 kinds)
Bagged spinach
Salad toms
Mushrooms
Baby corn
Cabbage
Thin beans
Carrots
Potatoes (salad)
Jacket potatoes
7 Granny smiths
14 Bananas
Watercress
6 Pears
Pick n mix Mushrooms
Warburtons thins (new style bread)
Builders tea (new tea)
2 Slimmer milk
5 sparkling water
I must add I do get 10% discount but I still think its a great shop. that should last me two weeks with the exception of apples, bananas and maybe the mushrooms. I am really happy with that.
Now I may not be going next friday because I really want to pay the £50 I have off this laptop but I maybe going to the cinema Monday, hopefull only the £4 admittance chargeWe shall see
Have a great weekend all :beer:0 -

Thanks Beanie, I am quite lucky because Morrisons always have offers on their f&v which means it can be purchased at a very cheap price
Saturday spends - £2.79 on 24 bottle of water, works out cheaper than buying them for 50p singly in work :T
Sunday - NSD :j
Have a great week all :beer:0 -

Those of you wondering I took my rant down, I should be very lucky at what I have and be thankful that I can live very cheaply while at Mums.
So Positive Pap is Back :j
Thurs 31st spend's -
£4.76 lunch @ work. I don't like getting lunch at work because it cost so much and the nutritonal value is shocking but I was/am ill and got up late.
Fri 1st spend's -
£22.00 bus ticket, should last until May
£13.00 entry to craft show
£67.00 spent at showincludes an easter gift too
£2.00 flower pot man for the garden
£4.00 bag from charity shop for a birthday gift
I have decided on 17 NSD's for April as I have planned a trip to the cinema and I want to purchase some tickets for London.
So thats the end of another Month :eek:0 -
£2 a day
So I am thinking of doing a memory walk in aid of Alzheimers/dementia, its a marathon walk (26miles) and takes place in September. The reason for this is because since watching Sir Terry Pratchett on tv talking about his dementia its been a disease that has touched me, I think its the worse ever disease that effects young and old. Plus the fact that I no longer run so can't raise money doing something like race for life.
Now its £30 to join, I can do that. But you have to raise a min of £260Now I know I can get a few sponsors in work but I don't have any other friends to ask. So there are 160 days until the walk, can I save/put asside £2 a day to cover the sponsor money? Its not much in reality, a mug of coffee, a bottle of coke, a sandwich etc etc but can I do it? Especially alongside main savings and saving for London?
So another challange or don't enter? :think:0 -
Mmmmm. That is quite a lot to raise.
How much do you think you would raise in work?I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Pap - I will sponsor you for that - fil has dementia. If you can pm me on how I can pay you, I will send you some money.
Ps where is the walk held?0 -
Yes it is a lot really Beanie, especially if you don't have a huge base of friends. I think its doable though. Not sure how much I can raise at work, for my 10k last year I managed about £130 but that was mostly Mum's work rather than mine0
