The lady who delivers mine brought it because it was me but she said they usually go with DHL here.. and they have no idea where they are but DHL are absolutely snowed under as they have depots in the worst affected parts of the country and cannot get to deliver so are way behind. Chocolate is not classed as perishable so doesn't take priority.. flowers and fresh fruit/veg does however.

I got my 2 Thorntons orders in 3 parcels over 3 weeks.. I didn't think one of them was coming at all. Thankfully I know my delivery people well so they will leave parcels at a neighbours house.. we agreed to take in each others deliveries.. so it isn't too bad.

I am just 2 things short.. a game for DS3 and a book for Sis's OH.. but I have a back up for the latter and enough for the former with his birthday in 10 weeks.

I'm back only to go again 9-9.30pm as DS2 had another stonker of a nose bleed again so I will be back in again, going to bimble a little first

Soappie thanks for the reminder, I need some more arnica when I am flying round tomorrow

I should have gone to the farm today, I'm regretting not having the ham ready to do tonight in the SC then bake in the morning like I usually do. Someone kick me' next year to go the day before please :)

Right, bimble to get DW emptied then HHC to get dining/living room FINISHED!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hi all
Just popping in to say hello...hope everyone is OK? Sending hugs to anyone who needs one...

Have hardly done anything today apart from the present run to my parents, helped next door shift their car - long story, but basically one wheel was stuck in a pothole on a slope and with no traction they couldn't get the car moving - and mopped up several vomiting events from DD. It started on the way home from my parents, thought it was just a result of excitement and chocolate, but seems not. She's not well at all. I've done 2 x WM and hoping that it'll be dry.

All house-related things are on hold until tomorrow afternoon (when we get back from the other set of grandparents - if we end up going, that is).

But, thanks to this thread, I'm not stressing about it...if it isn't done, then the world won't end. The place is fairly tidy.

I'll stop rambling and head off to bed, I think...
    Have a good evening
    Take care
    D

I don't know...... either the onset of dementia, or at the very least, a really bad Lupie moment.:D Probably didn't help that it was hidden behind the doors that are still waiting to be hung.;)

Then to stave off the dementia, I'm sending you a virtual handkerchief across the super-internet-highway so's you can tie a knot in it to remind you about important things like that ;):D

I'm so chilled it's unbelievable and it's all thanks to you guys for helping me to get organised.
Thank You to Piggers for the lists, to Soappie for support over the past 2 Christmases this is the most organised and thus relaxed and well I have been at christmas since before I had the boys

I'd like to echo these sentiments :T We're well enough organised that we should have a few bits to do tomorrow, then go out as a family tomorrow :j

Welcome to mummyroyof3 - believe me, they'll be no flying at all over christmas (and don't anyone say that won't be a change then!!).

I'd also like to thank piggers, tootles and soapsuds for organisng us and of course to everyone for their support and laughter over the year.

My nose is still owwwwey!!!! I've just done a do it yourself fringe cut because it was too long and I kept trying to flick it out of my eyes and hitting my nose. It's pathetic I tell you!!

DH marginally better. We'll see how he is tomorrow.

Everything is done. I could do with s/s ing but it won't kill us if I don't. Still don't know how many are coming on Christmas day though I know at least one set of neighbours have gone early and arrived at their destination.

Only thing I have to do tomorrow is help dd deliver some cakes she's made for neighbours and friends and go to the village carol concert. All good stuff. Going to try and get some sleep now so see you on Christmas Eve!!!! XX
