    Morning All

This is my busy day as everyone comes for tea tonight. Not doing too badly though so I should be alright and not get too stressed like I do normally.

Toots - what on earth were you doing up at that time? It's good to hear from you though.

Okay I'd better make a move and get some stuff done

Have a good day all and Merry Christmas

Morning lovelies! Wotcha toots xx

Hope everyone's well and not stressing :D Me? I've gone past stressing and have now reached the don't give a **** phase lmao totally calm even if my tax credits haven't gone in today...... been up since 5.30 but now getting yawny head on but I can't sleep as have too much to do. So, listy:-

    peel veg
    cook turkey
    lay table
    clean clean and clean
    wrap last couple of bits
    put cheque in bank
    last bits of food shop

having christmas dinner today so DD1 can join us as she's working tomorrow, we've got Beef for tomorrow so two dinners for us yum! We went shopping for it last night, Iceland car park was gridlocked but Aldi next door was fine, only about 6 of us in there and 3 of those were us lol never done a calm relaxed xmas food shop before and managed to get everything except sprouts which were going to get at the market today :T

k, brew time then gonna make a start on the kitchen, ooh and I ordered myself a sparkly new Laptop last night £100 off so seized my chance, I only get intermittent use of littleys netbook so need my own.

k I'm going.....not sure what happened to the coffee table but it's hideously full of carp....bin bags!
  • Good morning, and Happy Christmas Eve to you all :xmastree::rudolf::xmassmile:snow_grin:santa2::snow_laug
christmas pudding in the AGA - debating whether to leave it all night or take it out in a few hours - never made one from scratch before.
Christmas pudding looks fine and Dandy (got DH to set the alarm for 2am and to go downstairs and take it out the AGA)

Hurrah :T I was going to suggest that you'd be better not leaving it in all night :)

I'm going to iron while everyone else is zzzzzzzzz-ing, then look at my list

    Morning everyone

Merry Christmas for those celebrating with loved ones today and Merry christmas for tomorrow for those celebrating then and for those not celebrating - have a lovely day enjoying whatever it is that you will be doing

Toots - have missed your lovely posts, so sorry to hear you won't be at DB for Christmas but I hope you have a lovely peaceful day x

Went to the hospital yesterday to see Dad - he is much improved and they are letting him home for Xmas Day with a view to staying home - will find out for defo today so fingers crossed. He looked much better and has lost some of the yellowness from the jaundice. His blood pressure is still low but they say that once he starts walking about it should start to rise again.
So Thank You everyone for all the thoughts and good wishes - its been a tiring and emotional 10 days and the support you have shown has been more helpful than you could possibly know:T

Off to look at the list now

    Helen x

    That's great news Helen x

Tax credits now gone in....if I'd got up at my usual time I'd have been none the wiser, that'll teach me.

Coffee table cleared, living room just needs a hoover now. went into kitchen had a look then came out again lol will build up to it, it's nothing 10 mins wont fix so I'm not stressing about it. Need food but DD1 is treating me to a macdonlads breakfast so can't have nothing yet or I'll spoil it lol it's not the healthiest but it seems to be 'our thing' a little treat/bonding time we do occasionally.

Looked at the snow, it's still there *grumble grumble* actually we've had it for so long now it will be weird when it's gone, and it is going oh yes indeedy, starting Sunday according to accuweather hurrah! :j
