Thanks for saying that, have just flicked over in time!!
Well had a manic eve and day here...
Last night i discovered ants in my kitchen, yes Ants, surely this is the wrong time of year anyway.... I was a bit hyper so sprayed them with mr sheen while shouting die, die .. I then realised ---
Mr sheen +ants+lino = slippery lino...:rotfl:
So.. I ended up mopping the floor in the kitchen and bathroom at 10.30 last night. Still at least I got another task out the way.
Mr Asda brought the delivery and a few things were unavailable so have been to town today with mum. That was an adventure people where queueing up the road to get into Mr S carpark so we went into town first. Got some bargain wool from the charity shop so :T
Managed Mr S too which was quite funny, all we needed was ice cream and some tobacco and had the joy of strolling past people fighting over brussels that probably no one will eat anyway!!
Got back and spent an hour or so wrapping presents for mum. Luckily she had bought mostly box shaped things so was quite simple and she fed me a mince pie and chocolates.
Had some lovely post!!!
I got my cards.. thanks so much all it was so nice.. I now look as if i have friends!!
I also got confirmation of my esa so thats a big relief and a lovely card from the receptionist at work with my payslip. Such a sweet thing to do it moved me a lot that she thought of me.:o All these cards made me quite emotional.:o
I am now cold but going to make up the fire and watch tv..
Triker - get ready made life is too short to worry hunny.

Oooh Thorntons sale starts today - just had an email. Not sure if it is just online but for those of you needing replacements to missing orders it might be worth checking and seeing if it is in the shops too??
Just a thought.

I'm only back from town and boy is it busy, managed to get all done so no more shopping for me.
Rhys has a throat infection so has some anti-b's and hopefully he'll be feeling better soon. The other two have a bad cough so i've been told to give them drinks of honey and lemon as cough meds is a gimmick (so the doc says).
Hubby decided to muck up my plans and [STRIKE]needs[/STRIKE] wants to go to a shop tonight (to get himself something), i've already arranged to go down to my lot with their pressies so looks like i won't be off the road today till late.
House is ok-ish, so hubby can give me hand in the kitchen when we get back. Right i best go wrap pressies.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Hmmmmm.I love it when a plan comes together.
Main bedroom and half the hallway still to do. (cleared half on Sunday and Dysoned it properly today) However, I have the place to myself after about 3 pm tomorrow so can blitz it then.
All presents wrapped.:)
Box of presents to go to Wales collected:)
All food harvested apart from one stick of celery for the nut roast.:D
I don't have the foggiest idea what we're having for tea:rotfl:
Probably meeting friends tonight, location not yet fixed: either local to us or just off City Centre in a real ale pub.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Have ploughed on though because stuff really needed done. I wrote a list and hubby and i have done a fair bit, i've done the lions share but i don't care because he is buying me a Mulberry for xmas:A(Actually he's taking me sale shopping for a Mulberry)
So we have:
Cleaned the bathroom
Hoovered the hall, bathroom and bedrooms
Gutted DDs room - stripped and washed bedding too
Cleaned and tidied our room
Tidied and cleaned livingroom, just the floor needs done
Made cottage pie
Replaced water filters
Taken all rubbish round to bins
Put up coat hooks
Done 3 loads of washing and all dried and put away
Scrubbed Sink
Wiped down all units in kitchen and cleaned outside of all appliances
Tonight i will wrap some pressies and maybe do a little ironing.

Man finally turned up and fixed the shower
. Offered him a couple of beers as he also changed a valve as a favour and when the stopcock started leaking when it was turned back on, he fixed that for me too. Seemed reasonable to offer them even though he's taken 2 days to get here. And the cats liked him, which always makes me feel more forgiving towards someone.
Cleaned kitchen (again) as it was the only place I could reach without having to bend - the floor can wait.
WM, TD and 2 lots of folding.
Then bass. The tutor packed everything up for me and carried it upstairs and to the front door (which I thought was so sweet!).
Now just trying to put off sitting down for as long as possible, as I seriously do not think I'll be able to get back up again, as I've got the legs giving way thing going on. Can't even lean on the kitchen counter as that's too far down.
I have, however, taken copious amounts of medication and, much to my disgust, despite 60mg codeine, 1000mg paracetamol and 800mg ibuprofen, it still hurts a ridiculous amount.
I am so glad that, thanks to flyladying, the place is pretty much perfect most of the time, so I don't have to do much now, other than cook!
It shall be better in the morning. At least, it wants to be better.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Dog delivered, so I've been for a walk. Chocolate making is still ongoing... 6th batch done, 7th in progress. Hopefully I'll get some more moulds for my birthday... even though I only use them once a year!
House is starting to look christmassy, so I need to work out what I can put where as I have lots of (potential) visitors tomorrow... its pretty much open house from lunchtime onwards, so I need to get organised. If anyone is passing, feel free to drop in for a mince pie and broken chocolates
Now, do I put the plastic tree up, or not bother this year? I guess I'll see how much more I can do with what I've got without putting it up. I have LOTS of lights0 -

I'm still feeling crap too but am going to have an early night and be at M&S as the doors open tomorrow. How exciting a present is that!Jojo_the_Tightfisted wrote: »And the cats liked him, which always makes me feel more forgiving towards someone.
Well part of dinner is in the oven. Dauphinoise potato, mainly because I had some gruyere that was stinking out the fridge. At least i hope it was that? Will bung some chicken in too with some roasted toms or sumat and sumat green even if it is frozen peas.
The trade off of a nice dinner is that DH needs to stop at Mr T for cat litter and kitchen roll. I have only left the house once since Saturday and that was to go to the docs.
Have realised I've not had 1 present delivered, but it's only a small gift voucher for DH for one of his lycra places. I will wrap him an IOU. No big deal.......
