Lots of pottering bits done, including turkey out and WM on. Going again at 10.15

Greenbee - I have huge deep windowledges and a welsh dresser, candles and greenery sounds like a good idea. Will do that later.

Kazm - sorry about my rudeness yesterday but events overtook me. Just wanted to say I'm so glad everything is sorted now. Here's to starting anew without it hanging over your head in 2011 xxx

Right.....onwards and upwards. DH has chest infection so on antibiotics. Brilliant timing needing them today rather than tomorrow or Christmas Day. The doctor also had a quick look at my nose and confirmed that he thought it probably is broken due to the pain but said there is nothing A&E would do because it's very straight. He gave me some more painkillers and tried not to laugh at my black eyes! We are so lucky to have such fantastic GP's.

First client of the day has cancelled as she's not at all well. Hope she feels better soon but glad she's cancelled. I've just got two to do this afternoon. My mum is having the children and keeping them until this evening so I'll finish wrapping the last few things I found in a drawer last night. House is tidy. Everyone is living on sandwiches or pizza today and tomorrow and that won't kill them.

    Laundary complete.
    Children's room complete.

    7 things to wrap later.
    Client x 2 treatments.
Client coming to buy gift vouchers this evening.
    Take children to my mums.
Pick children up from my mums.

    Nearly done! Thank goodness!!! xx

Hugs to poorlies and injured. Hug and love to everyone else xx

LL - did you manage to make your post without even the slightest hint of a smile!!! Well, you have to laugh don't you! Maybe it was the fairy dust getting in my eye! Hugs xx

Engineer now gone and everything's back working again.

Anyway, hamster is back in his cage and I've told the kids they're to leave it alone today and not have him out and hopefully he'll be alright.

    So far this morning I've

Been to Mr As and done the shopping (plus bits for my mate and mum aklthough mum didn't really appreciate me ringing her at 7.30 to see if she wanted anything!)
    Put shopping away
Sorted presents for DH and kids to deliver
    WM x 2
TD can now go on as it's really noisy so I couldn't put it on before in case I didn't hear the doorbell.
    Put dishes away

Now I need to carry on.

    HHC @ 10.45 anyone?

Gonna be a busy day here, need food shop, post letters, get eyebrows done, doc appointment and then down to mum and dad's tonight. Need to get their pressies wrapped and cards wrote out.

Hugs where needed and i'll see ya all later.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Well all is well with the little bird. I locked the cats out of the conservatory. i gingerly popped my head around the door and it was sitting on my holly decoration. despite the door being open, it was bashing into the window trying to get out. i got the spare key, went round the outside and opened the 2nd door. After a few false starts it flew away. It was a wren and it didn't seem to be hurt despite the fact that it had been in the cats mouth earlier!
Ok, back to flying........WM on, spare bed stripped, Need a few bits from MrT, but daren't go out in case I miss the postie.
I might ask DH to stop on his way home from work :p
