  • Hello everyone!

I spent the first half of last week baking for a cake stall I had at a Christmas shopping evening... which 2 people turned up to! It was awful, we sat there for 2hrs until everyone started packing up and then went home. I had 50 cupcakes, plus gingerbread Christmas trees and some cake pops to get rid of, managed to sell 30 cakes to my parents :rotfl: My dad took loads to work, DH took the rest to work and I gave the gingerbread Christmas trees to DD's preschool for their Christmas party. I only wanted to make £25 to buy myself the Soap & Glory set that Boots have as OOTW so I'm very very grateful that my parents insisted on paying for so many cakes! DH and I aren't getting presents for each other so I would have been sad to miss out on the only thing I was going to get.

I was in agony with my pelvis on Thursday & Friday so no flying, then with everyone stuck in at the weekend even though I kept tidying up it was only taking 5mins to get messy again :( Spent most of yesterday chilling out and sewing a dress for DD and some bags for Christmas presents.

Need a good kick up the backside to get started this morning, going to do a HHC before heading into town to pay in DH wages cheque - we managed to walk to the bank in heavy snow on Saturday morning only to find it was closed due to the weather.

I'm having a slight panic that the last few parcels I'm waiting for wont turn up in time, but I have just seen the postman on the other side of the road which is promising!

Will get started and catch up on the rest of the thread later...

    Monday Mayhem..

    :rotfl:Thanks hun, just seen what you've written...you're banana's.:p

Greenbee, I don't understand, are you thinking he's backpeddling or something or that he's being a bit 'cold' about things, not sure what you meant.

Decluttering coffee, again, work emails attended to, some work related phone calls to be made, secret santa needs to be sorted and taken in today, as does a working lunch snacky for a meeting.

  • Morning Peeps:santa2:
Thankyou for the list Pigpen, It actually looks quite fun!:o or am I just sad? I lurve the way you have written it as quite light hearted, and the not as a frenzied, frazzled gotta get it ready by Christmas Eve mantra.
Happy Christmas to each and every last Fly Lady on here.
May your birds be bronzed, your present wrappings works of art, and your families the most grateful and gracious they could possibly be( especially when opening their presents in front of other family relatives.)
