1) Build santa stuff.
2) Clean skirting in hall.
3) See what sanding is left to do and do it.
4) Take carpet holders out of hall.
5) Get fire lit, bring in coal and sticks.
6) Check white paint and see if we have white spirits.
Some stage clean the car out this week. :eek:Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
In my HHC which slightly overran, I took everything out of the freezer and its currently defrosting now. All food outside on the table.
I need to do an inventory of contents and then hopefully squeeze in the soup and mince dishes I made last night ala economy gastronomy.
Sorted chickens, gave them some warm water to drink (drinker is frozen) and some pea shoots for a treat.
TD on.
Decluttered 2 poached eggs and another coffee.
Wrote some cards out for neighbours as I bought a reduced pack last night at the local shop. DD2 has instructions to deliver them later.
Spoke to hubby who said driving was difficult to his destination today, he's there safely, that's what matters.
Must chase up appointment for DD2 today...important.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Good morning
May I join in again please?
As you may suspect I've done precious little cleaning since I last signed up here so a big Christmas blitz is needed!
Thank you to Pigpen and Toots for the brilliant Christmas list - I feel calmer already - and today I will be concentrating on lounge, kitchen, bathroom and visible hoovering as we have visitors for a couple of days from tomorrow (snow permitting). After that I can do upstairs and beds etc before Christmas.
Have a good day!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -

On hold to dyno... want to change my plumbing and drains cover on renewal to cover the supply pipe
and tell them I no longer qualify for an employee discount (assuming they know how to take it off the system... thought I'd tell them even if they don't do anything about it). I've been on hold for 40 minutes now ... got through at 45 minutes... only to find they have to transfer me to another number which would have been less busy if I could have located it correctly in the first place :rotfl:
OH finally sent a list through of all the stuff he's buying from my parents and how much he's paying for it, plus all the stuff I've lent him, and what he bought. And a message saying 'don't read too much into this... I promised to do it ages ago and have finally got round to it'. But I am reading too much into it... I'm beginning to look back and see signs of how reluctant he was to cut the ties before, and now he's doing the paperwork he should have done months ago. I put comments on it... including pointing out that the values he's put on stuff he bought are way out, but I don't think I have the receipts for them anymore! I can't remember whether he actually paid me back for some of it
I've also sent him a list of what he owes me for christmas presents for his dad, mother and ex (well, I assume she's still an ex...), as I think it would probably be in poor taste for him to give them as gifts when I've paid for them! I've also told him that I need to know whether he's going back to his flat, as he was having something delivered there for my dad which I still want to give him and will pay for, if he can get hold of it and get it to me/my brother.0 -
