    hi everyone

just a quick one - I've been soo busy trying to get things ready for today, as if it's not done by tonight, it's not going to get done. We leave home at 6am to get to Cardiff airport, which baring any further snow fall, looks like it's open for business :D
Just got a teeny bit of wrapping to do (DH's presents!) and then the packing, and then I can collapse in a heap.

I must have missed where you're going, so have a lovely time :A

Aaaaaarrrgggggggggggggh! The lights worked when they were on the floor; they're now on the tree ..............

Evening all, doing this in bits so as not to lose multi-quotes
    Morning All
soappie This really rang true .... I simply can't "do" Christmas this year ... once I accepted that fact I was ok ... it's just kinda passing me by ... quite nice in a way to lose the stress ..... I have to be realistic & think this could potentially be my last (sorry don't want to depress everyone :o ) however it is also my DS's 21st Birthday on Xmas day so we will "celebrate" that :D

LL - glad it helped. Too many people get too stressed about it. I'm glad you've managed to accept your limitations and loss the stress so you can enjoy the day - particularly as it's your DS's. Hugs and stuff to you - you're doing grand xxx

Soappie Awww, what are you like?! Actually, I know only too well the indignity of going A over T and feeling a right eejit. Done it many times! Oh, just realised lil'me did a similar trick; bruises-better vibes all round, then.

I know - that's a question I keep asking myself - "what am I like?" Glad you had a cool yule xxx
    All caught up!

soappie - may I suggest to step elegantly into the bath rather than jumping in if you're aiming to help your hip! :p :rotfl:Hope it's not too bad x

    Good point Frodders!

    I'm fit to drop!

    Have just:
    Scrubbed kitchen tiles
Deepcleaned Microwave inside and out/toaster and kettle
    Cleaned outside of fridge
Put a wash on/emptied and tumble dried
    Emptied DW and restacked
Washed dishes that dont go in DW
    Scrubbed work surfaces in kitchen
Moved dining table and TV stand and hoovered and mopped behind/underneath them
Cleaned computer and monitors as they were covered in plaster dust

Not too bad in an hour, its amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it!

KazM - that is brilliant news for you all, must be a huge relief for you all after all this time.
Good luck for the trip Onestep

Everything wrapped now except DS1/2 stuff and my own. Might get it done now and out of the way whilst they are asleep.

Need to make our bed and iron a shirt for DH for tomorrow. C'mas starts in this house at bedtime tomorrow, as MIL is due 7am Friday and after that I can do no more cleaning. Tomorrow may be a busy day

great news KazM - it must be such a relief.

chocolate making is having a brief hiatus. Flavouring the ganache generated too much heat, so the last batch didn't come out of the moulds well. Need to chill the kitchen :P
so I'm clearing up, washing up, finding something to eat and doing other stuff... chocolate making may recommence in the morning when its cold (well, I may do one or two last batches later tonight).

Luckily I have very little work booked in for tomorrow, so I can be flexible - pick up the parcel that the postman tried to deliver today and get the cooking and cleaning done before the dog is dropped off. No decorations are up yet (they're out, but not up) and wrapping is still a work in progress!

Oh bo*ll**ks - I have a really nasty feeling I've just broken my nose! I've just walked into the conservatory door, full force on my nose. It really hurts. I've taken painkillers but I'm guessing there's no point doing anything about it tonight. Sorry, just need to say ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh to someone!

Flying part of this post.....I wiped the blood off the door....ever the flylady!

Back from the Wacky warehouse - the Cubs have had a great time. Still loads to do but DH and the kids should be out for a good part of tomorrow morning so I should be able to crack on while I'm waiting for the Virgin man.

Kazm - pleased everything's sorted at last - I can remember when it all started.

I can't remember what else I was going to say so hugs to all
