Window done :D Garlands next, after DD has gone out. She tried to help last year and nearly knocked me off the stepladder  Not risking it this year as I still have too much to do!

    Monday Mayhem..
    • Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially! Shopping Wednesday on my own for basics. DD reminded me that I've not bought her any new PJs for Father Christmas coming  Add that to the list...
    • Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up while 5am on Christmas morning wrapping! Need to buy the last couple of bits for the gifts then I can start wrapping.
    • Dust round the whole downstairs
    Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!
    • Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs!
    • Mop the kitchen floor!
    • Get rid of the washing up.. delegation is good! DD has made a huge dent in it. Just tea dishes & some bits she's not allowed to do :D:j

    Wednesday Mayhem..
    • mop the kitchen
    • mop the bathroom/s and loo's
    • Bake some mince pies and tarts etc.. yummies!!!
    • Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc Friday job, first thing ;)
    • Vacuum the whole of the upstairs!
    • do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs Will consist of putting all the empty Christmas boxes away upstairs ;)

Will allocate vacuuming to DD when she gets back and the tree is done. It always drops bits as does the tinsel so it'll make sense to do it post tree erecting ;) X is due here any second so I'll soon be able to get a move on with things :)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Well I know now what was wrong with me yesterday .. *sneezes* It seems a bout of bad IBS was being chased along with a nice cold.. YAY. Still, at least my tummy has settled down as those who suffer with it know IBS is nasty.

Lots of catching up flying to do but have had a positive start this morning as it is bin day so have emptied all the bins, cleaned Jinx's litter tray out and obviously popped the bin out. Now I am having a coffee, organising my listy and waiting for mum to pop in for her morning coffee.

    Ok..listy!
(if it has gone its been done or not needed)

    Monday Mayhem..
Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast!

I'm getting there with the laundry - one load in the TD, one in the WM - only 3 more loads to go after that then it's all done! :T I'm determined to get it finished today, so there is only a small amount of washing to do before the new year. I like to have the house nice and clean by then.

Just decluttered a nutrigrain elevenses bar, a digestive biscuit and a cadbury caramel from the box of heroes - a most nutritious breakfast. :rotfl:Will make sure I have some fruit today too to make up for it. My thinking is, that it's all going to be eaten by me anyway, so if I eat it all this side of the new year, I've got a few months to lose the weight again for the wedding. :p
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Hi all, sorry haven't managed to catch up with all the posts but hope everyone's well and hugs and spoons for anyone that needs them.

My little list for today on top of the original lists:

Make soup for nan's 95th birthday party tomorrow (will only be going if DD is better)
    Make cupcakes - as above
Wash all bedding - DD was sick almost hourly last night so lots to wash!
Wash our kingsize duvet - DS was also sick all over our bed
Wrap OH's presents - all others done apart from from SIL which is in transit somewhere from Amazon

Think that'll do me for today

    • Have tidied the table so said cat can get to said windowledge with out destrying things (who's in charge here?)
    • Have fixed the internet on the PS3 ALL BY MYSELF!!!!!!
    • Sung very badly to my classic christmas carols cd:rotfl:

LadyLiberty:hello: Mummy (aka JayJay14 i think) wanted me to let you know that shes thinking of you, but doesn't get to these boards much anymore. You and Soappie absolutely right about Christmas. I've been getting myself in a fuddle trying to get stuff 'ready' and all I've done is made myself sad, and adding to what is becoming an overload of stress. Thankyou All! Have some happy loves :happylove:

Right back to fix the bombsite I've created, much to the amusement of the cat who is sat in HIS chair (when did that happen?) watching and sleeping....grrrrrrrr, good thing he's so adorable!
