Two nasty fractures. In plaster from elbow to fingertips. Back to fracture clinic on Christmas eve. It is my right and dominant hand.
No driving for 6 weeks.
Very limited flying
Hurts so much.Hi all
Hope everyone is OK? Things here not so bad, except I have yet another migraine. Seems to be a weekly thing at the moment - I need to get hold of some migraleve I think. I know exactly what's causing it - the amount of stress I'm under at the moment, can feel it like a tight band across my shoulders and up my neck. Anyway, if they think I'm cooking tonight then they've got another think coming - OH, who works from home (and who, incidentally, should actually be on holiday right now) could help out by watching the children, thereby letting me sleep it off, but no...he's far too important for that. I wouldn't mind, but come Christmas Day he'll be expecting his mum and brother to be catered for. What do you reckon? Should I retire to bed after the kids have opened their pressies? Perhaps I should just leave instructions for how to cook Christmas lunch?0 -
Pigpen definately check it all, just seen a post of someones smashed up half missing order
not giving me much hope
Actually there is a thought, the second set they have sent (first one appears to have been lost) should arrow tomorrow. Think I might be best going shopping tomorrow evening so I can replace them if necessary.
Laundry that is clean/dry sorted, all DSs is put away and there is more stuff to go to the garage. Suppose I best start on downstairs. DP who appears to have the same stomach upset as me has been sat on his a**e on the computer all day because he is not well and his meeting got cancelled.... Shame eh!One day I might be more organised...........

Sockdrawer: don’t bother saying anything to MIL.. bin the ones beyond repair and ebeast the ones in good nick!
Greenbee: glad you’re now putting ‘ex-OH’ in your posts – sending big hugs.
LL, Diva, & toots: hugs and lots of spoons to you all
Mumto5 & 1step closer: hope you both feel better soon. Mumto5, I sympathise (broke my arm in the summer). Drugs, and rest!
HelenJelly: sounds like you’ve got a bit of delayed shock there. Keep warm, and have some sweet tea. There are some really silly people out there; their problem, and not yours.
JoJo: ethanol, or acetone. Try nail-varnish remover first. Then try ethanol.

Um... might it be worth having a look on the websites of the marker maufacturer and vinyl manufacturer to see if they have any advice on what to use? Or, if you have an extra piece of vinyl, can you recreate the crime scene and try every solvent in the house, finishing with the really heavy duty, don't use without windows open, stuff??‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
