  • I'm so shaky - was driving very slowly to a roundabout on Mum's estate and my brakes locked and I went into a slide - signalled to another driver coming towards me and it was very visible that I was sliding as I was going round it sideways but the stupid man drove up behind me and started using his horn aggressively and gesturing at me so when we got to the junction I was so mad I lowered the window and we proceeded to have an almighty row and now I can't stop shaking and feel sick and thats all after news that Dad's consultant is having a meeting on Thursday about his scan and he is back on the drip and needs to drink more but that is all we know so back out again later to take Mum to the hospital to find out more, Dad is feeling very low and is starting to get upset all the time and crying alot and keeps talking about coming home - good job he can't manage to walk very well or I'm sure he would of tried to get out of there despite being told not to!!

Apologies for missing the thread but I'm struggling to keep up with stuff here so there is no chance I can keep up with what is going on here but love and hugs to all and especially Toots

    Helen

Aw Helen - what an idiot! I must say you did very well, I would probably have punched his lights out!!!

Hope your dad gets sorted soon.

 on the ganache, I need to make truffles too.
Seriously, this stuff is solid. Only way to make them will be the messy way... hand rolling. And it'll be very messy trying to get them soft enough to roll. I might miss out on them this year and keep it till its warmer. I've made long-life ganache, so it'll last three months!

Piggers - one of the nurses did ask the specialist nurse about using the spray but apparently it doesn't numb deep enough as this injection has to go in quite deep as it's a pellet. He's had the spray before when he's had bloods that we didn't know about in advance - they will use it if required, they're really good in our Children's Clinic.

Aside from most nerve ending being on the skins surface and very few internally I think he may be bull***tting you.. the skin is pretty much inpenetrable.. cream or spray will only affect the surface of the skin anyway.. like you putting on face cream.. it doesn't touch lower layers because the top layers are waterproof.

Glad this appointment went better for you though :D

OH's parcel he was waiting for arrived :D

Baby fed and OH just dressing her!

DD2 and DS3 requested OH collect them from school in the new car.. freaks lol. DS3 now thinks we are rich.. :s.. if only!

Ick.. feeling a bit ropey here. Today all I have done is sleep and have some lunch since my last post.
Feel all shivery and cold and sooo tired. I really feel like climbing back into bed again tbh but that will not sort out the house.
Going to have a coffee then see if I am any brighter xx
