Those who remember will know I've gradually beeing decluttering MIL's, FIL's and BIL's stuff out of the flat so we can have more space. Well, I've just tackled part of the airing cupboard I hadn't reached before and found a huge blue bag fu' tae the gunnels with shoes. Really well worn, "vintage" sixties/seventies falling apart shoes. Very odd. My how this flat yields up it's treasures! There are a couple of good pairs in there, so must speak to MIL about them..... Hubby reckons he remembers one pair of his in the bag from when he was six or seven.... he's 42 now....... Hmmmm.Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.

Hi All,
Happy Winter solstice to the LW's.
Hugs to Greenbee, Mumto5, JJ's DS, Toots, LL & the LW's & all else who need them.

[Thanks Lil-me - he's always been really good - has to have bloods done every 3 months and has them without a fuss but this will be the third time he's had this injection and last time it really hurt as the cream hadn't been on long enough as it wasn't quite in the right place when I put it on so it had to be re-done at the hospital. Hopefully this time it'll be in the right place!
The cream doesn't actually work on a lot of people..
It should be put on 45 minutes before being needed to be working as well as it doesn't.
Better still say no I will not use it and ask for the spray which works instantly and without any adverse reactions and does actually work! They all have it but it is more expensive than the cream so they don't like using it. Mine are even cheaper they refuse it all and just have it done.. we have bloods every 3-6 months too.

She's tackling cutlery, plates and mugs ATM and I'm about to start the ironing while watching National Lampoon's ChristmasI'm not putting any washing on until the first ad break so the ironing pile doesn't grow too fast

Soappie if he had much else I would, really skint this year so they only have 2 large and 2 small thing each, they're DS1 2 large ones and little ones small ones. I think he'd be a bit disappointed getting 2x £10 gifts when his brother opens his large gifts and as they have them in stock in a local toy shop I can't face them having just those 2 small things to open .... Other years when there has been a dozen or so gifts wouldn't have been a problem. DS1s birthday gift was in there too, his birthday is the 4th and forecasts are pretty awful from 1st to 4th here so I'd rather have that ready too as everyone usually forgets his birthday.
Today - kids clothes to sort more of (2 sacks now in garage) and then downstairs I think incase of unexpected visitors as it's a tip! DP has a meeting from 3 so will need to make use of him before he goes. Then tonight once it's all tidy/clean ( yes I am being very optimistic) I'll go do the 'not farmshop' food shop and get DSs replacements and he can put the tree up with the kids.
Understairs - organise, get 'rock band' out to go in the playroom, wrapping paper out, boxes TBS underneath!
TV unit - take Wii games to playroom, wii fit?? put old OU stuff away, clean unit!
Coffee table - clear, clean, move into DR for tree to go on!
Wall unit/vivariums - sort food, clean all shelves and the glass doors!
Telephone cabinet - quick tidy, file paperwork, sort cables out that are next to it, put new OU stuff in and wipe over
Fridge/freezer- dig through, check dates, reorganise, see if there is any spare room in my very small freezer....
Kitchen - laundry upstairs to be sorted, clear benches, clean benches and door fronts, clean out filters, clean oven, sort food storage/shopping list
Actually thinking of those kitchen/fridge sorting thing I think a meal plan would be useful....One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
