I got the letter too back in december, and just thou it was rubbish more or less as no extra payment arrived. But this mawnin when me checked the bank their was 119. From working tax credits and i get alot more than that A month my monthly payment is due this tuesday just hope that was the extra payment and not my actual payment for tuesday anyone else had one yet? I've not had any extra child tax payment as yet so guessing its jus for working tax credits unless their another one on its way,

Totally confused now. Had over 400 extra on tues then still got a payment today (normal payday), but about 10 more than usual lol. Do they actually know what they are doing?

OH has a job interview tommorrow so fingers crossed for that so we don't have to rely on the CTC so much.

    ali x

hope it went well, fingers crossed for you.

No extra payment here either, also feeling left out!

I got the letter in December too- and haven't had any separate amounts going into our account. I've just had a look at our account online and noticed that both WTC and CTC payments on Tuesday (our usual payment day) were higher than normal- by a combined grand total of £2.88.
Am wondering if that was our extra amount!!!! :D

I have determined that this sudden wealth will not change me, though.
Conquering the debts one penny at a time.....

Same here - my payment day is Tuesday and for the last two Tuesdays my payment have been a few pounds higher than before , so not sure if i will get any extra payments but it seems like my weekly payments have gone up by a few pounds
  • I got a letter about the extra payements on 22nd Dec .

As the letter stated that any extra payment being made would be made by the end of Jan 2011 , i was starting to think that i wouldnt be getting one as it is close to the end of Jan now......

But...I have just checked my online banking and there has been an extra payment made , dated Monday coming.

The payment is a bit over £100 which is just £8 less than my normal weekly amount...

By calculating this it looks as though my remaining payments from now to April are going to be around £12 less.
The loopy one has gone :j
  • got an extra payment on friday for £33 it was WTC not CTC will know tonight what my payment will be as mine goes in at about 9pm on a sunday night!
    Make £11,000 in 2011 / ebay £600

Some banks don't because they don't open on a weekend.
Where as if you are with natwest and get paid on monday they issue you it on saturday because they open saturdays.

Are you waiting for a payment?
