anyone got a letter from tax credits about an extra payment

  • I got an extra payment today also £20 less than usual ,it's not a bank holiday in the uk is it as I'm concerned this might be my normal weekly money ?

    Thats what i mean, Thursdays (today) Is my normal payment day. So im bit concerned. Im going to ring them in the morning. Will let you know later on tommorow what they said. Thanks Guys :o

    Totally confused now. Had over 400 extra on tues then still got a payment today (normal payday), but about 10 more than usual lol. Do they actually know what they are doing?

    OH has a job interview tommorrow so fingers crossed for that so we don't have to rely on the CTC so much.

    I know but even still our money has gone way lower than before he started the work. Ive always worked 20 hours, my husband couldnt get work for ages so i was the only one with income. He couldnt even get jobseekers as we were told i had to keep him. I will ring them tommorow to find out whats happened. Thanks for your kind help though anyway :)

    Hurray this morning got an extra payment for £118.36 now this is eitherthe extr payment or backpay for 3 weeks with hubby losing his job and our income going down dramatically, will wait for our new award notice and see, whatever its very welcome

    Me too! Not that i need it, but if it comes before next Friday i will put a years road tax on the car instead of 6 months :)

    I also got a payment this morning of £93.

    I totally forgot about this till i just checked my account online.

    Better than a kick in the teeth.
