    afternoon all! althogh it still feels like morning to me as I've not long got up after my night shift. Luckily it went well and I managed to stop awake!:D

    Plans for today are to dye my hair - too much grey showing through now!:eek: move DS2s stuff into DS1s room as they are swapping before DS1 moves back home - DS2 needs more space for entertaining his young lady:D

    Did my shopping last night at Morrisons and used my £25 off voucher:money::T plus got another for £5 to use up too after Christmas. Will only need a few bits next week now and if we get snowed in I could cope!
    Only a sprinkling here - bit like a dusting of icing sugar but a few miles up the roadtells me they've had more. Hope we dont get it as I want to go shopping on Sunday to get the last few pessies plus DS1 is hopefully coming home!:j

    (((hugs))) to all those who need one

    Happy Birthday BargainBird:beer::bdaycake:

    will go and read the thread shortly

    take care all x

    i wasnt going to post today as i am in a terrible mood but i've had somebodies size 8 feet up my backside ;) and i'm getting on top of things. no matter how much i seem to tidy i dont get anywhere and its getting on top of me.

    just stopped for some toast. ds has just gone for a nap so i have peace!

    alan has requested fish fingers for tea... odd choice as its not something we generally eat but if they're in the freezer he can have them!

  • Thirzah sorry to hear about your mishap but well done you for going to your mammogram. They are so important and I know I wouldn't be here unless I had kept mine up.The machine I agree is a instrument of torture and I bet a bloke wouldn't put his tender bits between two steel plates to get squashed together, but it does save lives so the discomfort is worth it.I only have one 'boob' to get squashed now, but it still gets done every year without fail
    Well we have had a sprinkling of snow but it seems to have stopped at the moment so I have my fingers firmly crossed. Its very cold and around -4/5c at the moment .

    I saw a teapot in a charity shop this morning so I bought it as my old one had finally given up after over 35 years of making me a cuppa. It was only £2.50 and a good size so I should think it will see me out:):)I wonder how many pots of the stuff I have made over the years. My late husband used to drink tea by the gallon and I too am a bit of an addict.
    Kettle goes on the minute I or anyone else walks through the door.
    Well I'm off to sort out some lunch, I think it will be a banana sandwich and a yoghurt.Peppered steak for dinner tonight with charlotte potatoes and mixed veg.Have a good afternoon everyone and keep wrapped up warm

    The report last night was show a hug white blob over the west mids. As far as i know most pleases in the west mids have had very little snow. Just a dusting here. Todays wether report shows the snow missing us!. There must have been a change in the wind during the night. So another change could end up with us 6ft under of snow:rotfl: So i think we will just have to wait and see.

    Good news that you will have your son back on sunday.
    Also good news for your others son girlfriend (i think:rotfl:) More tidying for her as i bet dont dont
    :jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j
