Me again.
Boss has told me not to go in. :j so I have the next 4 hours to kill! Think I'll be going back to bed with cuppa and book for a bit. Then I might attempt to tidy the pit that is my flat before I get ready to go out.

It's snowed here!!!!! :j:jProper snow, and lots of it. As we are right next to the sea we missed out on the snow last time.

OS wise today? Not a fat lot. Need to blend the leek and tattie soup I made overnight and perhaps makes some biccies. Really depends on what energy I haveWe never had the chicken chow mein for tea as H didn't want anything so we will have to eat that tonight or it will have to be chucked (and I am NOT doing that!).

Morning all
Cold and frosty here. DS 1 and 2 sat watching cricket, they are ready for the last day at school and both look tired. DS3 still getting ready DH dropping him off. Plans for today are to get dressed, go into town for 30 minutes then into school for a few hours.
Still got quite a lot to do before op, but feel like they might just get done. Will have to slow down a bit though as my back wasn't quite so good as it has been and if that goes there will be no op.
Dad is home in time for his 75th Birthday. A bit washed out but happy to be home.
Best go and get cracking, take care in the snow/ice.

Good Morning All!
Been MIA recently, but like a bad penny, here I am again!
Also up at silly o'clock - been doing this for several days, so use the time to crack on with the Christmas cards. Yes, I know you all got yours in the post weeks ago, but there you are, I never have done things early! have now run out of cards so will have to venture down town later - on foot as the snow is back again.
JackieO I really hope your plans go ahead - it'd be such a shame if they were cancelled now.
Bargainbird - have a great day today.
House in need of general tidy-up I think. Ironing pile growing legs again and trying to escape from the cupboard.
Bought lamb chops, pork steaks and chicken breasts all for £10 yesterday at Mr T's so that's the meals sorted for the next three days! Need to make more bread and soup too I think. WM needs to go on again, and I have just finished drying yesterday's washing. Oh well, plenty to be doing then.
Hope you all manage to keep warm today - and no slipping over on the ice! Take care.Resolution:

Morning All ,
No snow here and I'm kind of hoping we don't get any this time. DH and my Mum have me under house arrest at the slightest bit of bad weather atm, plus my sister is meant to be coming up this weekend. Mind you if it snows down her way in Devizes, I can't imagine she'll be able to get up anyway and then we won't see her or her family till the new year
OS wise, am at a bit of a loss as to what to have for tea tonight as the freezer is rammed full of turkey, gammon, pork etc so we've got very little in! I'm sure I'll be able to create something, just have to dust off my imagination :rotfl:
Hope everyone is ok, take it easy if you have to go out in the snow, it can be sooooo dangerous. Hugs to all xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,

Morning All!
Aaaatchooo! Bless you all!
Happy Birthday BargainBird   Mwah!
Boys are at school, DS2 seems to be quite snuffly and not quite right this morning, but he's gone anyway, if he gets worse they'll phone me no doubt. The house is a tip, I got not much done yesterday. That's a lie, I got nothing done. OH is back tonight/tomorrow morning, so I had better get a move on, goodness knows how I'll manage but needs must, I am off for a cuppa and to find some energy.
Glad to hear your dad is home Polly. Hugs spoons and Hi5's everywhere else.
