Amazon Shipping Dilemma!

I ordered stuff on 7th, supposed to arrive on 14th and no sign so far. Thankfully it won't ruin Xmas if they don't arrive in time BUT ironically stuff ordered the day before came really quickly

My parcel dispatched on the 5th arrived yesterday so don't give up hope everyone!

I ordered items on the 4th, despatched on the 5th, still not received them. I too have received a reply to my email telling me to wait until the 20th before requesting a re-order or a refund.

wow! my daughters Kindle has been dispatched today with a delivery date of the 21st, its been sent by royal mail . do they normally send expediated by royal mail??
I think its coming from Bedford..not sure though

Mine is due on the 21st as well and, too, is being sent with Royal mail for expedited shipping. I would have thought some sort of courier service would have done it, I got CityLink when getting one-day delivery once. Then again maybe they're sending it on Royal Mail Special Delivery service?

Largely appears to be Royal Mail rather than Amazon. I've placed multiple orders over the last couple of weeks - I'm a Prime member and most items were eligible for next day delivery. Based on the emails I've received, the huge majority were dispatched in good time. Everything that was sent by Citylink has arrived. Nothing that was sent by Royal Mail direct from Amazon has arrived. Interestingly, everything ordered from 3rd party sellers and sent by Royal Mail has arrived. So this seems to be specific to the relationship between Amazon and Royal Mail.

I've ordered a few bits and bobs during December, all on supersaver and all despatched quickly and arrived within a few days.

Placed an order v. early yesterday morning (17/12 @ 2am) on Expedited shipping as it's got some presents on it, as of yet it's still not been despatched which is making me a bit tetchy (my last order on the 15/12 was despatched in under 9hrs). Delivery estimate for this expedited order is 18-20 Dec.

I got a response from them, it's being dispatched from London so it's not been stuck in the Scotland snow
