I now owe 9500. The first time I've owed under 10k in at least 5 years. :j I'm going to have to get creative if I want to be debt free this side of Christmas though!

Well done. I remember when I went under 10k it felt soooo good to be only 4 digits in debt. I can't wait till I get to 3 digits. Going to be a long time for me. :o

Hi, not posted here in a while but here are my stats: -

To 31st July £3900 or £35% of the 11k target

someway behind however Its not beyond me to hit 11k yet, my target for August is a lofty £1500 more, which is a chunk off my wifes catalogue, fully clearing the credit cards, and £300 extra earnings from my internet shenanigans (I managed £305 this month).

11k will be tough, my forcast has me almost hitting £10k, that assumes I hit my £300 target for extra earnings off the net and we don't over spend and we don't have any large unexpected expenses, and lets face it overspending is quite easy and unexpected costs are likely to happen between now and Christmas.

So even 10k will be tough, I shall have to redouble my efforts on the extra income front!
Unfortunatley I have blown my works bonus for Novemeber by breaking my wrist and having two weeks off work!

This is how anal I am: -

Thank-you. I'm sure 3 digits will be here before you know it. :j

I actually don't know what I'm going to do with all my time once my debts are paid. I spend large amounts of time either working out my debt free date (I'm talking full sensitivity analysis), planning my spending, trying to generate extra income and studying my old credit card bills!! Completely obsessed, I wish I could learn to not let it dominate my life, but when I tried not thinking about it the debt just stagnated, I managed to pay off less than a grand in a year- oops.

Drrat hope your wrist is better soon.

I've decided to throw caution to the wind and pay another £100 off my Barclaycard today. Signature updated. That only leaves me with £220 for food, petrol and any other entertainment until August 31st, challenging but doable. :D
