March update
Total now £1279.34 (11.6%)
Its much better than it was but nowhere near the 25% it should be. Still hopeful of being on track for £11000 by the end of the year.

Paid £630 to Halifax yesterday - this should be the month when I'm :j because we've gone under 10k but as OH is Best Man for his brother in May, he's organised the Stag do and 13 Alton Towers tickets, 7 rooms and a meal out for 13 people have all gone on the MBNA card so we're still hovering slightly above 10k
I haven't included the extra spends in my signature because we're getting all the money this weekend so I should be able to get under 10k later next week.
Fingers crossed...CC Debt at LBM Nov 08 - £25000+ DFD Dec 2012Second DFD May 2021Starting my MFW journey: Opening Balance: £138,000; July 2019: £135107.33; July 2024 £52974.602025 MFW #360 -

Well signature updated to reflect this months payments and my total percentage for the challenge. Have actually paid 28% off my total debt amount that I started the year with so am pretty pleased with our progress.
Our flat went on the market today for rent and tomorrow we're putting down a £200 holding deposit on the house we're hoping to rent.
Baby on way. New house. Hmmmm ... may be more spending than saving going on in our household. xxxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -

Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather... washing out on the line, no heating on. All the money that is being saved :j
OH is on stag do tonight so I've had a fun Saturday evening working out budget and sums for the next few months.
Myself and OH work for the same company and April is bonus month so hoping to pay off a whack of the MBNA card along with the stag do money which is making it's way to us in dribs and drabs. That'll get that card back on track. Still not under £10k yet but it's getting closer every day.
I'm also thinking about making a payment to MBNA every Friday by rounding down what's in the bank account to the nearest £10 - so if there is £122.72 in the bank on a Friday, I'll make a payment of £2.72. I follow someone's DF Diary who does this and I reckon that I can pay off another £200 on that card before the interest free period runs out in Feb 2012. My final payment should be in Feb anyway according to my plan but it'll be nice to have an extra £200 that month to celebrate.
Barclaycard offered myself and OH 0% balance transfers until October 2011 but still don't need them - that's 3 offers in the last 2 months that have gone on the recycling pile. Such a good feeling.
Enjoy the rest of your weekends.CC Debt at LBM Nov 08 - £25000+ DFD Dec 2012Second DFD May 2021Starting my MFW journey: Opening Balance: £138,000; July 2019: £135107.33; July 2024 £52974.602025 MFW #360 -
