Nothing beats a good excel spreadsheet!

Although we've had a bad couple of weeks of spending I can report that in March we paid a total of £796.84 on debts. An overpayment of £214.90 from what we hoped. AND ... we still had £75 in our joint account and I had £223 in my bank account.

Going to let this carry on over to next month to look at what can go on debts and what can go into savings for baby and new house project. :D

Well hen night down and only spent £50 which included £20 for the accommodation, £11 for the meal and £3 for a MacD breakfast this morning. Good thing with being out with a girl in a veil was that we got free bottles of booze from 2 of the places we went into so I kept drinks down to a minimum. I just spent the rest of the night dancing... that's free :D

DS1 birthday weekend next on the list, along with Mother's Day, brother's and niece's presents and Easter eggs to give out while all the family are together on Saturday. Other than my brother's present and shopping for 16 people I think financially we've already spent for those occasions so now I can concentrate on presents for my mum's birthday.

One step at a time... it'll soon be 2nd May although it doesn't totally end there as in May we have DS2's birthday, an evening wedding reception and DH's birthday!

    Ok shocking month again

Total £931 for the first 3 months. Miles lower than I had hoped.

Washing machine breaing in March didn't help, so that was £300 unexpected cost, offsetting debt repayments by incurring more debt. Only managed £130 for the month of March!

Also have the fun of paying for my sons Holiday with school to Rome. That was another £200 towards it in march.

Hopefully next month will be better! I am anticipating bar unexpected emergencies to pay off in the region £800 next month alone as I intend to cream £400 off my goiling profits. Following hopefully by a similar number in April as I should get my work bonus, this should say goodbye to my two credit cards.

    £120 to MBNA today.

Through the £3000 barrier and willing my Halifax statement to turn up now as that's the next card to be gone and the one I'm making higher payments to.

Should be here by the end of the week.
