Ordered 3.05am yesterday, delivered this morning -result!

Looks as though the couriers are out delivering today, though mine was delivered in a plain car, not the normal courier van!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Sorry to laugh, but it was so nostalgic reading this! It was always left to me to get everyone's presents, write all the cards, decorate the tree, go to work, do the dinner etc, and on Christmas Eve, DH would make a Big Thing of "I'll be a bit late home from work cos I'll be doing my shopping". Next door to where he worked was a shoe shop, and every year I got a pair of slippers.

His family would open a carefully chosen gift, and then complain it wasn't the right colour. My side would grumble about anything possible. Then after dinner, the kids would fight, everyone else would fall asleep, and I'd be left with all the washing up (pre dishwasher days!).

But I'd give anything to have both our sets of relations with us, moaning about the brussels, or the plates being too hot/not hot enough. If you don't get any nice things, just do what I used to do. Have a good cry on your own, bathe yourself in the aroma of burning martyr and know that, without a doubt, you are one of that fabulous group, who sprinkle Fairy Dust on everyone else, and without which there wouldn't be Christmas.

Just to let you know if anyone is near Windsor they had loads in store. Well they did at 10 a.m. was not going to get one but could not resist. I was only one in the queue with one. Obviously no MSE'rs in Windsor.

If it helps anyone they are pilled high in Boots Westfield centre in Derby as of 5 minutes ago. Ordered mine online yesterday, rang today and although I havnt had a dispatch email just a conformation one, my order is A ok.

Just to say - if you go on Boots site and click the store locator - they will have the phone number listed for all stores. It saves a wasted journey in this weather.

None at my local store but they do have some at The Fort in Birmingham (Erdington/Castle Vale), if anyone local needs one. I'll probably see you there. I'll be the one with the S&G tote bag.

Just been on the phone to customer services as my order placed at 9am yesterday still said "Your order has been received" - this apparently means that there is no stock to fulfil the order, and they're unlikely to get any more. So if your order summary says that, you're probably out of luck... I could have gone out yesterday and picked one up, but thought I'd be "green" (and warm!) and not make a special trip... Boo hoo!!

If anyone has placed an order after you and gets it, I would be complaining bigtime to Boots. No disrespect to anyone who ordered after that time but all orders should be processed in the time order they were received by Boots.

My order was placed around 9.20am, I received an order confirmation at 10.15am.
Boots status is processing, but I ordered for home delivery.
