It's a darn good job that us gals love our men so much because without that there'd be very little point to them lol!July- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments0 -
I'm feeling rather sick to the pit of my stomach...
went instore and bought the MIL one much to my annoyance that my dearly beloved didn't think of maybe offering to get me one too so ordered one online for instore delivery when i got home as he saw my face when showing him what his mother will be getting for christmas (he went through the oooooh and aaaaaaaah of the hatbox so you'd think he got the hint!!)
Anyway, boots is still showing as "we have received your order" and it's been since 9:14am and i paid with paypal which still shows as pendingdoes that mean i'm not getting one??? I can't expect to keep hers as we've planned how we're padding it out and everything but it'll be a kick in the gut if i don't have mine
how childish am i!! lol Just that i've bought everything for the kids, parents and i know not one person has bought a single thing for me!!! winge winge moan moan, rant over... sorry!
It's showing the same for me but I'm having it delivered in store - and it still shows that it will be there sometime on Wednesday (last time, I got a text the day before). I wouldn't panic yet.¿Alguien ha visto a mi nave espacial?

Last time I ordered (the Spa set), they sent me the 'acknowledgement' and 'confirmed' e-mails on the day I ordered - a 'despatched' e-mail two days later and the 'ready for collection' a further day later.¿Alguien ha visto a mi nave espacial?

Nope, told my bf that i want damages boxsets from choices and he hasn't ordered them! Looks like I'll be getting cash (always good for sales though!) and a token box of ferrero rochers so technically I've got something to open bless him! He does usually work 7 days a week which is why I thought ordering the DVDs off the web would be easier lol!July- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments0 -

No you are not, you are possibly even in the majority. :rotfl:
But speaking from 34 years experience, it is actually easier in the long term to buy your own, at least that way you get what you want every year.
Who knows you may even occasionally get a surprise present or two as well.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

No. I ordered myself a DVD, S&G and some Uggs and put them on OH's card. That's his Christmas shopping done. I also have to do his Mum, Dad, daughter etc as well. He's clueless.0 -
Maybe they are holding back on some of us in Scotland, as it would be easier for them to deliver to others before us. I'm to collect mine from Elgin on wednesday supposedly, but if they can offload them to someone south of the border easier maybe thats there plan? But then again maybe its me getting paranoid.................its only toiletries after all.:rotfl:0
