OH is in Glasgow Fort this morning,I phoned him at 10 past 10,to ask him to get one for our eldest daughter(youngests is ordered online)..He had no idea what to look for..I told him to follow any large group of women in Boots;)..He phoned back 2mins later to say he found them no problem,surrounded by Men and Women,said there were around 200,but they were "selling like hotcakes",most people taking one or 2,but others with 6 and more...he phoned again at 11am to say there were only 3 left!!(he's quite amazed,never been caught up in a shopping frenzy for anything before)..I told him i hoped part of the reason for there only being 3 left was due to his purchase for our daughter(which I know he got)..and secret/surprise purchase for ME!!...this was met with "eh what?...are you kidding?..etc"..and a kind of DUH!!! sound.....I never ever ask/hint for anything..no point realy:rotfl:

If boots do cancel these then it's bad on them.

They must have known that they would fly of the shelves, and now we've got the snow, so we can't get out and try and re-buy the presents that we thought we was getting.

I just hope that Rihanna who i spoke to and said that my daughter would 100% receive her order, even though it only says received is right.................

I think so. I got two emails yesterday- an acknowldedgement one, followed by the confirmation one.

The confirmation says they cannot cancel or change the order and it also says:

What happens next...

• Your order will be processed and despatched by our warehouse and will arrive at your chosen store on or before the delivery date given below.
• We will confirm despatch via email and also tell you how many parcels to expect.
• We will send you a 'ready to collect' text let you know when your order is ready to collect. Details of store opening hours can be found using this link Store Locator.

I'm not too worried yet, as mine isn't due for collection till Wednesday so dispatching it now would be quite early, surely.

Still no confirmation email for me, so it looks as if my order will be cancelled.

Ive just checked my account,I didnt realise mine only said "received"..,no mention of processing.I did get an Email,but only to this effect ;
"Your Boots.com order acknowledgement"..
it does go on to say this

Thank you for ordering from www.boots.com. Your order details are listed below. We are now unable to change or cancel this order.

But it then goes on to confuse the issue by adding this;

"Before your order is confirmed and accepted it is subject to further validation checks. Once we have carried out these checks we will send you an order confirmation email."

Am I getting a tote bag or not?...looks like if OH did get me a "surprise" one i may have to give it to one of my girls...cant give to 1 and not the other.

Men just don't get it do they, they don't do hints. Other than writing out in very large letters, please buy me this for christmas.

Then they will need:-

• Full colour illustration
• Location of shop
• Location of goods within the shop
• The price -How much :eek:

Then if they forget the list - forget your present

Just to let you know I ordered mine online at 09.30 yesterday and DHL have just delivered......Fantastic and what I great bargain!

I ordered 2 to be delivered to store as I live in scotland and have only had acknowledgements so far. I ordered at 9.11 am and they were still instock online supposedly at teatime so i'm hoping they don't get cancelled.
Will it be because I used the parenting code?

I ordered about the same time, used the code,I am in Scotland and only had acknowledgement so far.
