9 points and not wearing your seatbelt?

    That's just asking for trouble.

Now we know your talking 5h1te.

It's a good way to justify it police figures and all that.

You picked uo 12 points and now face 6 months on the bus.

Whilst the police who stopped you, all being their fault will still be driving.:D

I had 9 points once, being young and stupid...all speeding convictions. I drove like a saint for 4 years.

Well I am actually just looking for some advice, not your self-righteous opinions. For the record, I was wearing a seatbelt. I told the officer this too, but that was the reason he pulled me over. I didn't ellaborate as it isn't relevant to my question. I am not looking for moral support or an ethical judgement, just some advice to help me to keep my job. I explained this in the original post.

Think people are being harsh judging this guy. He's admitted his faults, it's now up to the law to judge him, he was only asking what to expect, any way round it etc. I hope you don't lose your job etc, as a result of this, but i think you maybe need to use the experience to teach yourself a hard lesson in thinking before you act (speed, seatbelt etc). good luck
  • the police are obviously going to look to the average driver for some revenue for the treasury..they are scared they are going to get their budgets cut.
LTSB credit card 22% now... £1677
    work 0%............................£300
    Sister 0%...........................£1400
    Inland revenue....................£208

    I owed £18000 in 2005:eek:

They are anyway and a £60 ticket isn't going to make up for a £10 million cut is it?

I dont think the biker frenzy chap meant they were targeting just me to make up the deficit. I am sure other people will be receiving tickets too.
