I couldn't think of anywhere better to post this, but.......
I ordered my BM on Sunday after lots of grief with the LX website. However, I'm pretty sure it went through in the end as I have printed out the confirmation thingummy.
Hooooowwever.......
No money has gone from my account and I can't do the order tracking thing on the website. My only option seems to be to ring them them up, which I am a bit apprehensive about, if I'm honest, as they may ask me awkward questions about my discount codes:o
so, my questions to those who have done it
1. how long before the money was debited from your account?
2. did you try the order tracking thing?
3. How long did it take to arrive?
4. what do I say if they ask (IF I ring them up)?:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Hi everyone
I ordered mine on Friday night and was given a delivery date of Monday.
10am Monday they delivered. :j
Immediately tried it and made a 1lb basic white loaf. It came out perfectly. Tasted very nice. Had some toasted last night as well with scrambled egg. Very nice.
At the moment I've got a 1lb mixed grain loaf using Wrigthts bread mix from Asda. My house smells wonderful. Using the Basic setting and I hope it comes out alright (it said to use the normal setting on the bag!)
I'll let you know how it comes out.0 -

Hi Lynz
The window steams up for me too - but its ok, once you've made a few loaves you wont need to watch it anymoreThe early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -

Hi lynzpower
Mine doesn't steam up all that much ... but my kitchen is quite cool so maybe it's got something to do with the warmth of the exterior as well as what is going on inside the machine.
I've just checked mine and there's 20 mins left on the timer and my loaf is looking great ... I still can't get over how easy this is ... and how much money I'll save for little effort.
When I'm next in Asda I'm getting some dried fruit. I fancy a mixed fruit loaf.0 -
ok my lovely granry loaf is done ( smells fantastic!) but the blade has got stuck in the loaf!
No biggie, its not going to stop me eating it, but has anyone got any ideas how I stop this happening again??? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

It only happens sometimes - I think when a bit of the mix has got underneath the paddle. If it does, I usually just break off the bit of bread underneath it & it comes out just fine. Mostly it just comes out anyway.0
