has anyone got any cake recipes I can do in it. I was a bit disappointed with the manual as it only has the hot cross buns & fruit cake. & madeira.
I dont like maderia and fruit cake is about the only cake I can cook properly without A bm! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Hi
I can now join the club. My BM has just arrived, yippee, so excited, I am off to play with my new toy.
Will report back once I have mastered the art of getting it out the box. Also got to tidy the kitchen and find a permanent space for it.
I hope I can do as well as you are Lynzpower and thanks for the thread.

I just had 2 rounds of the HM bread with beans and it was absolutely gorgous :T
All the best cats whiskers, dont forget to bake empty as it says on the instructions. Dont worry about the strange smoke, perfectly normal
Incidentally, another question. I did a white loaf last night. With the sugar you are meant to put in 1 & a quarter teaspoons sugar. How on earth do you measure the quarter teaspoon?? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Lynz,
Mine's just arrived, a day before the delivery date! :j I don't think I'm going to get the chance to try it out before tomorrow though.
In the plastic measuring cup there are a couple of other plastic measurers....one of them is for 1/4 teaspoon.

I love homemade bread and used it at my mums, but I'm just moving into my own place and wanted one - I nearly bought it in tesco for £35

Well once weve got into the swing of them, hopefully someone will be able to aid us with loads of cake recipes
is it possible to set this BM to bake and be ready in the morning, or do you have to "set & go" ?? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
