Hello! I am keen to start making my own bread, and have been pointed to this thread by some very wise people. I've just followed the link to the Morphy Richards site to try and get a bargain fastbake but sadly it looks as if they have run out! I have to be quicker next time...

Anyway, does anyone know of anywhere wlese you can get them for roughly the same price please? Thanks so much!

Cheapest other than on the MR site I have found so far is Argos at £44.99, I got mine from amazon cheaper but seems they have gone up on there too. Sometimes they are cheap on Ebay but always have to consider the postage costs.

Shame they have ran out, maybe they will get some more.
One day I might be more organised...........

Sorry to butt in on your MR thread but I have a Russel Hobbs BM and have thrown the recipe book out by mistake. Can I use the recipes on this thread or do they differ from make to make.

Russell Hobbs definitely uses different recipes!

do you have a nectar card? If so have a look at the nectar site when I was having a nose yesterday I noticed you can get a morphy richards fast bake for around 10,000 nectar points so may be worth converting your points and getting it for "free" if you see what I mean

Thanks for the heads up razra - we only have about 7,500 points and we're saving them for christmas food though so I guess I'll have to wait and hope that MR gets more in!

Hi me again, with yet another question! Will the Morphy Richards fastbake do gluten free loaves? It's just that I've seen the - far more expensive - new Panasonic breadmaker has a specific gluten free setting, but I don't really want to spend £100 on a machine! So, does anyone have any experience making gluten free bread in a fastbake? Thanks so so much
