sorry my quote button's not working :(

you can get sets of American cup measures in the likes of Poundland, supermarkets or anywhere that sells kitchenalia

in fact you can just use an ordinary measuring jug as long as you remember 1 cup=8fl oz, can't remember metric :o I'm sure someone will be along soon who's more up to date than me

or I think it was thriftlady suggested using empty cream or yogurt cartons marked with the measurements, after filling to the correct level using your measuring jug

the teaspoons & Tablespoons are the same as ours

The spoon and cup are £5.40 on their website..can't remember how much p&p is....

I just looked and they want over £6 for a little plastic measuring cup  Well, that's just not going to happen :p

I have found a set of plastic ones on amazon for just under £5 but will check out the pound shop first - just in case ;) I am sure I will get lots of use out of them. I am starting to wonder how many other 'disasters' were simply due to the cups, I can feel a new excuse coming on ...:rotfl:

  • I appear to have 3 sets of measuring spoons, so if anybody needs some they can PM me, as I only need 1 set. I set that obviosly came with the BM originally, a metal looking set of 4 and a plastic set of 4. I suppose I could put them on E Bay and make a mint!!!!!, but I would rather somebody on here had them

The cup that I have, which came with my MR BM which was secondhand, is a plastic one. The measurements are - 1 cup = 8 fl oz = 230 mls.

    Hope this is helpful.
