I had a quick idea on m ybus journey home about this deal I would be willing to strike with someone. Why not take the 20k loan, then come to this message board, and find out how you can get the 20k loan written off, by paying £1 month or an IVA/Bankrupt etc. That way you still receive £24,372 in your bank from me over 5 years, if you invested it well it could potentialy be much more, your bankruptcy will have expired by that time, you'll be free to borrow as much money as you like, and you will have close to 25k to do as you wish with.

You are asking someone to go bankrupt for YOU?

You do realise this is criminal. Maybe prison is the safest place for you?

I've brought this thread to the attention of the powers that be.
Like others I think it should be locked, and hopefully that's what they'll do.

I wouldn't waste your breath any more folks

JulieGeorgiana, is there any particular reason you keep going through "thanking" all the nasty comments in this thread?

Yes. It is common practise to 'thank' someone when you agree with them. I am pretty sure I have agreed with everyone apart from YOU!

I am thinking that if you are serious and not a troll, then it's time I think about calling social services, so they can trace you and take the kids out of the negative atmosphere of spiralling debt, mental disability, gambling addiction, anger issues and worst of all... the cold! Which quite frankly can kill them!

But you don't have a problem do you... it's the banks fault!
We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy!

I reported it earlier as well, no difference and one of the other board guides has read this, no action taken as yet.

I hope it's locked rather than deleted.

Not only is there some great advice for people in similar positions - it is also an eye opener into how people can walk intentionally into complete ruin whilst in complete denial.

Why is that, do you think?

Why have more and more people started writing about thier worries that you have some mental health problems that need addressing with more urgency than your financial problems?

Is everybody who writes on this board completely wrong and you are the only one to see that? Why is that?

I know that you will not do anything because you are so deeply into the world that you have created that you no longer see the "real" one.

Everybody who has debt that they cannot pay eventualy has thier own lightbulb moment. For some people this comes about because they realise that they cannot continue in thier old ways, but for others it is forced upon them by circustances. I think your moment of clarity regarding finances will be forced upon you--and quite soon. It can be a good thing if you use it properly and take advantage of all the help available.

Until then there is really very little point for you to keep coming back here.

You will not get another loan...you are feeling some pain you will probably need to feel a bit more before you get it but you can sort this out really quickly if you take note and do the things you need to do.

You need two clean basic bank accounts:
If the account your salary comes into is already overdrawn you need to change the salary into a new account so you don't lose all your salary to paying off last months overdraft.

Set up all your DDs from another new account, it is not chargable to change the account they are paid from and debatable whether you would have to pay a fee to chage the date but this way you don't need to. Call this your DD account.

When you get paid into your new account move the total amount of your essential DD's into your DD account you are not allowed to touch this money it's not yours anymore.

Any money left in your other account has to last all month you need a budget, you can't just spend it because it's there.

I am not in debt because I have a budget my DH and I know how much we need to put into our bills account each month to get us throught the year we relook at it each April when the council tax and water rates come in.

I have helped people in a much bigger mess than you one of my friend was almost £50k in debt with twice as much going out per month as she was earning and a huge pile of unopened bills and letters.

It all seems pretty bleak because it's Christmas but even if you could borrow more it won't really help. How old are your children?

People want to help you ;)
