OMGGGGGGGGG is all i can say to this thread cisco people have taken their time to help you out and you have done nothing at all with this information its simple
Open a new bank account
Get wages in it
Move direct debits
Then you will have your money every month and can offer what you like to creditiors as they wont get your money as it is in a new bank account.

I personally don't think cisco is a troll. I think he believes what he believes, that if he could roll his debt up into one monthly payment, over five years, with a decent apr, he'd be fine. I even see the logic.
I can also see that he is intelligent. But also very intransigent and inflexible. I lost count of the times he's said 'unfortunately this happened'' or''unfortunately that happened'' or ''unfortunately I was off work ill'' or ''unfortunately the car insurance was cancelled'' or ''unfortunately I had to go to court and pay all costs''. I also see that he won't compromise on what he wants - kids to have xmas presents (no santa), car (both him and wife?), house in snobby area (negative equity). He appears to want the life he thinks he and his family are entitled to (35K) and will not compromise. But he can't pay for it. Ok, he can't pay for any of it because of the debts, but those debts were accrued financing that life he can't afford. And I too am curious to know which crack the 50K windfall dropped into.
cisco, you may get offered crappy small loans with big apr's. You won't get what you want , 15K mainstream, because you're a poor risk. You know it but can't accept it is true but it's a fact. You might as well talk to an ATM as a bank - it's all creditworthiness, homeowner, employed etc. Like it or lump it, that's the reality.

How can a house in a 'snobby area' only be worth £110,000?0

Because when we see "nice field" or "nice set of trees" property developers see "nice place to smash down and build a bunch of new overprice prefab boxes which look like luxury houses, reducing the value of the existing property in the area and bringing in an influx of the sort of people stupid enough to buy those houses...."0 -
An answer for everything.
Try applying for a TV game show, you will surely win the money you need, at the very least.0 -

It is all relative - I live in the 'snobby area' of a pretty average town in the Midlands. The value of my house would not buy anything in even the worst areas closer to London.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Exactly, 240k would get me a detached 4 bedroom house with twin garage round here...0

In which case a smaller a house should be worth more than half of that. Still, by your own account you don't know how to sell a house...
What puzzles me is that you blame the banks for everything - not your £300 a month gambling habit, not your £300 a month car insurance, not your decision to take out loans in the first place, not your failure to keep any records of how much more you were spending than you have coming in, not your failure to discuss this with your partner. But, even though it's all the banks' fault, you are still relying totally on your bank to sort out your problems for you. That makes no sense at all to me.0
