Bottom line - they will lend when they think they will get it back. You have proven you cannot handle cash, so you are a bad risk. End of story; there is no conspiracy here.
I am sure even a bank manager (despite their challenges, afterall what made them aspire to be a bank manager) shoud be capable of looking at someones bank statements for the past couple of years to get a quick feel of how much they earn/how much they are spending/how much they are wasting and be able to draw a conclusion from that as to the likeliness of a loan being repaid.
In case you didnt realise...your cash flow goes like this
Employers bank > Your Bank > Your pocket (sometimes)
The important step in the chain here is "your bank" ie. "your bank" will receive your money before you do. "your bank" would be capable of retrieving the repayment on their loan before your balance has even been updated in the system. "your bank" would be able to excercise the same system they do when you have a credit card with them , quote "If you do not pay this figure then we may take the funds from any additional accounts you hold with us"
My employers once loaned me money. Because my money came from my employers, they were able to dock the payback before it reached my bank. My bank could quite easily dock the repayment on a loan before I could possibly have the chance to spend that money (unless I am sitting at ATM at 12:00, even then, any money due to come off my bank on payday has already come off before I can access my funds on payday). The system worked for my employers (although their over generous rate of payback which they decided on the loan did leave me on a wage of next to nothing for half a year)
You can not tell me the banks don't rely on the mistakes of others. Where does the money come from otherwise?0 -
So 5 years ago on another forum you were given similar advice to the advice people are offering here..... just imagine if you had had the foresight to listen and take note?0

there was no heating, saw a cracked roof in the kitchen, saw a flood in the kitchen due to burst pipes under the sink, saw no carpets and wallpaper upstairs etc.
Your ludicrous story gets more daft everyday.
You never did have any meeting with the bank arranged yesterday. This post is nothing more than a cry for help from a seriously depressed individual.
Take the advice about the Samaritans or continue into your dark world of self pity.
Either way, get off this board.0 -
Send me a PM and I will drop you a line with my address and you can come round inspect the visual damage yourself. Of course, only if you plan on helping me fix it, if not, please kindly move on and stop sticking your nose in. Thanks.0

Ok, lets see where I can make some savings this month then....I stil have 4 direct debits to come off...thats a £15 charge each time...the cardcash account is not supposed to go overdrawn, so thats £5 a day unauthorised overdraft borrowing....Im not making this stuff up...if I only had to pay £400 in debt I wouldn't be in this mess, I wouldn't feel the urge to gamble, and I wouldn't be complaining here. I'll stop when at least one person can see where Im coming from...0

Ok I can see where you're coming from.
Will you please stop now?0
