Here the Audi undertakes 2 cars at a road merge where the HWC states that you should not do so, it really is as simple as that.

Being overtaken. If a driver is trying to overtake you, maintain a steady course and speed, slowing down if necessary to let the vehicle pass. Never obstruct drivers who wish to pass. Speeding up or driving unpredictably while someone is overtaking you is dangerous. Drop back to maintain a two-second gap if someone overtakes and pulls into the gap in front of you.

Here it's clear that the same Audi has changed lanes to prevent the video car overtaking him, people don't like being overtaken these days.

What's the big deal guys?
At last someone who can see the wood for the trees.
Don't know how much of the thread you have read Strider, but I posted that in #28 ages ago.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -

Until you drive the road all this conversation is pointless, in everyday driving at this junction ALL vehicles end up in a position after the chevrons as if they had entered and continued in lane 2
Hmmn - If you look at the top of this photo, you can clearly see that all the cars position themselves on the left hand side of the road (Lane 1). That does not seem to support Derrick's opinion that everyone stays right.0 -
A different picture which proves that lane one definitely does not disappear into thin air like it does in derricks head and it also shows how normal competent drivers actually drive in lane one. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

If they didn't want people using 2 lanes, they wouldn't put two lanes in the damn road.......
Why do people get so arsey when someone uses the other lane for exactly the purpose it was put there for?????
I don't care where the arrows should be, overtaking is not a crime and ya'll need to stop with your stupid "omg he's queue jumping mentality"!!
Get over yourselves.... Seriously!“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

You're quite right, but if everyone drove like Derrick then there'd be no merging at all because cars in both lanes would be on the rear bumper of each other, creating a standstill.
The issue was caused by Derrick closing the gap to the Toyota in front and not allowing the Audi to merge-in-turn.
I've seen you're Youtube video's of similar situations and as I recall you were calling them for everything for closing the gap and blocking you. How is this any different?0 -
You've changed your tune now.:p
No im just taking my own side on this, i'd like to see the road before the junction to determine which lane should have the merge arrows.
But arrows aside, what im saying is there's nothing wrong with using that right hand lane, that is what it's there for!
Ya'll seem to be on the attack because someone dared to use that right hand lane.... Why the hell do you ya'll think it's there? to look pretty?
Audi drive came up the inside and forced the Toyota to stop, he should not have done so and I personally would have spotted him doing this and quickly moved to the left before he placed me in any danger. The Toyota driver obviously lacks the confidence to do this.
Audi driver has proven himself to be confrontational and on the next clip he changes lanes with the intention of blocking.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
