Hi Elantan - had a look at the OU website and read the pdf about the course. Sounds interesting and something that I may consider next year.

I shall be watching this thread with interest !!
Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.

I only signed up on Monday, which was the day registration closed, so I haven't had my pack yet.

What's the official end date for the course?

I've got a baby due on May 31st, so I think I need to get ahead a bit!
Here I go again on my own....
  • I'm happy to join in as well. Got my pack through, and really looking forward to getting started. Had a play with the DVD rom too. I do have tutorials, but you are right, it is not clear from the material. I only found out because I got an email from my tutor on the OU system. Should be a good course though, and I'm all for putting my thoughts on this board as I go. Good luck everyone.

    Hi

The course calendar states the End of Course assessment is May 9th. Like you I'm trying to get ahead as I have a baby due at the end of January!
Oh yeah, and I live in County Durham too so would see you at any tutorials if they're not too far (but think they're in Newcastle)

  • I've been an OU student for a number of years athough have not done a course for a couple due to work life pressures.

Haven't got my materials yet as they were being delivered to my workplace and I had to leave yesterday before they arrived.

Something to look forward on monday I guess!!
