Hi Elantan - what OU course is this ? It sounds very interesting, where could I get some further details ?? Would appreciate some info please. Thanks in advance !!
Ps Any further news on your nephew ? I posted on that thread !!Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.0 -
hey richard it's the you and your finances course ..just started by the o.u known as db123 it costs £295 for the course, but if you have a ila account you get £200 towards it..so i'm only paying £95 ..i think there are other ways to get it paid for you but i'm not sure what they are..as for nephews brother nothing new yet although he did ask my hubby if there were any jobs going so hubby got him a form and by the time he returned it it looked like a dogs dinner...he said he doesn't know if he wants it as he might earn too much and doesn't want to pay anymore money out...i was spitting feathers again..i try not to be judgemental but sometimes it can be so hard....thanks for asking though ...keep a wee eye on this thread hopefully wheeze and myself (and maybe others you never know) will let you know if it's gonna be any good0

no but i did have one from my last course...richard the ila account is called individual learning account if you earn less than £15000 you get £200 but if you earn more than £15000 you get £100 towards courses ..it's a government incentive to get you back to studying...you can find out about the course on the ou site ..wheeze think i'm gonna have to look up my tutorials page if i can find it ..ooppss can you tell i'm not good at the p.c stuff lol..heaven knows how they are gonna get my tma's0
