The results for the people who finished the course in May are on your student home page today, with letters to follow in the post.

I got 85% on the TMA's and 64% on the ECA.

I'm disappointed with the ECA result as I know I could have done better, but I was poorly at the end of my pregnancy. I ended up writing half on the Friday. The following day I went through a 23 hour labour to deliver a 4 weeks prem baby, got let out of hospital on the Monday evening, and finished the ECA off on the Tuesday to get it in the post Special Delivery to hit the Wednesday deadline  :rotfl:

It's an overall pass though and 30 points towards my degree. Over half way through B120 Business Studies now and have booked places on BM240 starting October and B201 starting next Feb.
Here I go again on my own....

Hi all, well done on your results.

I just followed the link to the OU site from this thread and I think Im going to sign up for the course in the new term. I never did my A-Levels and did pretty shoddy at GCSE levels as I wasnt bothered back then but I actually feel like it would benefit me to do this course as I have learnt so much over the last year trying to become debt free.

Im off work next week so I will look into it then ;)

    thanks for the inspiration

    Hi Crown
If you are going to study with the OU the finance course is a nice one to start with, its not hard going and there are only 4 assignments to do.

Good luck if you decide to do the course:D

Dont even need to cheque, was in major depression stage when eca was due and never submitted it, so mine is a clear fail, but it did help me towards my LBM, and tutor for my Business course gave me web addy for this site.

    Hi Pennytomyname
Sorry you never got to finish the course, but hope you found it useful anyway. Some of the financial tools on the cd are handy to use anyway.
I know depression can hit you really hard and studying would have been the last thing you felt like doing if you were in that situation.

hope you are feeling a little better now.
